This tour was a lot of fun... tour guide was great. I only wish we had done it at the beginning of our stay so we could have tried some of the suggested restaurants.

Had a great time in Chinatown with the group. Raheem was a great guide for a first time visitor or a local like myself. I as well as the others on the tour especially loved his passion for food details as well as some history. The organizers of these tours need to take my advise and let Raheem put together some more exotic ethnic tours for local and visiting foodies.This is the fourth foods of New York tour I have been on and have enjoyed them all. This was the best walking tour I've done and much better than Big Onion company. The guide Raheem was superb and had a wonderful light delivery style. We got just the right amount of information, trivia and humour. Quality of food was brilliant and we felt inspired by whole experience. Would most certainly come on another tour. Thank you.

Bari was a fabulous guide and host of my group of business spouse associates from all over the country. We were treated to an insider's view of history, food, and culture, and certainly benefitted from this knowledge. I am a native New Yorker and learned far more than I imagined. To say that we all enjoyed, is an understatement!! This was a find - I will be coming back with local friends and am sure they will all love it as well...

I would highly recommend the Greenwich Village food tour. Heather was an excellent tour guide. Not only do you get to sample foods from different purveyers, but Heather also gives you a lot of the history of this very unique and charming neighborhood. The samplings were very generous as well. Be prepared to come on an empty stomach. This was definitely the highlight of my trip to NYC.

We loved the tour. Extremely animated and knowledgeable guide, great food, interesting architectural facts and neighbourhood details. We returned to the Village the next day to continue eating. Would definitely do the Chelsea tour on my next trip to NYC. Would've liked some more walking (less standing) and a chance to see a greater area.

We walked through Greenwich Village, stopping at restaurants to sample their foods. We must have tried out eight or nine different places; the menu was varied, interesting, and delicious. If you're really lucky, you might get Saphrah as your Tour Guide--She is a famous actress and mezzo-soprano who also enjoys baking.

It was great! We lucked out with a beautiful afternoon. I am very familiar with the neighborhood (I have lived there for over four years) and had been to a lot of the places that were on the tour, but I still found great new spots, new things on menus, and new facts about the area. All in all, it was a great afternoon, and I would recommend it to friends. In fact, we did recommend it to strangers on the street near the end of our tour.

The tour was both enjoyable and fun, Curt (red head) was very knowledgeable, and made sure to include everyone. It was a little hard to hear everything he said when we left Chelse Market and ventured outside, but I still wouldn't have eliminated anything. Thanks for a great time. wendy p

I would encourage anyone to take this or any tour offered by Foods of New York. The Chelsea Market was fabulous, as was the inclusion of the Highline! Major bonus! Bob, our guide was knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. As with all food tours, it gives you great insight into the neighborhood and new favorite places to go!! Don't eat prior, you'll get plenty of generous samples--YUM!!

I used to live in NYC but spent very little time in the village. I go back a few times a year but until recently, spent most of my time in midtown. I was surprised at how much I didn't know about the rich history of the West Village. The great food and a beautiful Sunday afternoon made the tour a highlight of my trip. I would recommend it to tourists as well as locals.

Bob was our tour guide and he was fantastic! We got a little bit of everything -- local history, sightseeing, and of course, lots of great food. (We even had a surprise mini tour of a private brownstone in the neighborhood.) The tastings were the perfect amount of food. We left satisfied and enlightened. What a terrific afternoon!
