| My boyfriend and I completely enjoyed ourselves on the tour of Greenwich Village/SOHO. I have done 2 other tours and knew what to expect. My boyfriend had never done one of these tours and told me throughout the tour what a great time he was having. The tour guide was able to tell us about the history of the area as well as the history of some of the places we stopped for tastings. The food we had, from each place, was really delicious. We tried things from Indian street food to pasta with bolognese sauce to rich creamy ricotta cheesecake. We stood outside of some places and others we were invited in to sit at tables and relax, try the food and listen to stories of how the particular restaurant came to be. In all, we had a great time exploring this small section of the Village and the great and diverse food it has to offer. We intend to go back and do some more exploring on our own and we certainly intend to sign up for other tours. Thank you! | ||||||

| We had a friend tell us about this tour. They told us it was a must do and it was. Both my husband and I put it in our top 3 things of our trip to New York...and we did alot of stuff. The mix of food and culture was fantastic and our guide was very entertaining. We ended up going back to some of the resturants that we passed on our tour and had some AMAZING FOOD!!!! You would never know some of these places were good unless you got to try a sample or have a local reccomend it to you. I say this is a must do in New York, up there with a broadway show and Central Park. | ||||||

| This is the second food tour I've been on with Food Tours of NY. This one was even better than the first one. Our guide, Rasheem(sp?), was wonderful. He was knowledgeable about the history of the neighborhoods we walked through, and of the food that was served on the tour. In spite of the cold, slightly windy day, my family had a great time and we left so full. The food was great, from the Indian kati roll to the walnut chocolate tart. I would recommend this tour to anyone and haven't stopped talking about since we took it. I'm already looking for the next food tour to take the next time I'm in NYC. | ||||||

| I came to NY with 3 of my good friends (a girl weekend away).. We are from Florida and were really looking forward to the cooler weather.. (It was a bit cooler than we expected) however we loved the Greenwich Village tour.. Our guide was very sweet, energetic, funny and we adored her.. We had very good sized portions and the food was delicous.. In particular we went to Little Havana Rest and the wonderful cook there named Lydia was very gracious and friendly to everyone in the group. I wish I were staying longer in NY so I could go back to each resturant to have dinner... We also went to Palma restaurant and the cook was awesome and the food we tasted was so good... I cant say enough good about this tour and would gladly go back and do it again! :) I thought it was the highlight of our visit and well worth the money... | ||||||

| We had a great day, enjoyed delicious tastings, loved our tour guide David! He was knowledgable and fun and interesting. We had a lovely day, and the tix served as a perfect Christmas gift for my in-laws! We really enjoyed the day from start to finish. Even ended up having drinks at one of the places you visit on the tour, called Commerce, and dinner at a restaurant you visit on the tour, too, called Palma. Palma was spectacular! | ||||||

| I'm from Cincinnati and was on my own Saturday afternoon in Manhattan; therefore, I signed up for the food tour. It was a great chance to learn about some very good restaurants in the Greenwich Village area, as well as learn some of the history of the area. I had a great time & plan to do the tour again when I'm back in the city as well as bring along others. | ||||||

| I lived in NYC as a child and now live in NJ so I'm pretty familiar w/the city. I didn't expect much, but this tour was fantastic. I learned so much more than expected and got to sample some of the foods for the area. I'm definitely going back. Dave, our tour guide, was professional, friendly and funny. He was so good to all of us and so considerate. I'd recommend this to any one - even if you live in NY. I plan to go on other tours (like the SOHO tour). | ||||||
