Foods of New York Tours

everyone in our group loved this tour. I would never have imagined there was so much to see and experience inside this location. We enjoyed the food and will definitely come back to visit each vendor, our only issue was that the market closed too early for us to return on Sunday!

Tour is fabulous. Variety of wonderful foods, interesting guide (Bert) and lots of fun facts. Only thing I would do different is take the tour at the beginning of my visit to NY, so I could come back to restaurants, theatre, etc. So much fun.

This was our third tour with Foods of New York and it didn't disappoint. More delicious food (big portions), lots of interesting neighborhood history, and another terrific tour guide. Annie was warm, funny and created a good group dynamic. Our 13 year old daughter LOVED her and so did we. Highly recommend. These tours are a great way to get to know the city.

On our tour 03/25/2012 in the neighborhood of nolita my wife and i experienced a piece of NYC culture like never before. The people who designed created and executed this tour completely understand the culture and deliver that in an excellent 3 hour tour(unlike Gilligan). The places were diverse, unique, and a joy to visit. every place welcomed us in. these are the kinds of places you recommend to people.

Our tour guide, Annie, was great! She was funny and extremely knowledgeable. I was surprised by how much food we got at the places. We were full until dinner that night! The history of the area was very interesting and the food was great. Cannot wait to go on another tour!

We really enjoyed our Chelsea Food tour. The tour is primarily indoors which makes it great when weather can be an issue. The Chelsea Market is a bustling, wonderful place that really packs the people in on a Sunday! The history of the area and the history of the building was fascinating as well. Our tour guide, Diana, was knowledgeable but I wouldn't describe her as personable. She was all business which was a little off-putting plus some of the information she shared about the area was TMI. Otherwise, the tour and the food tasting was 5 stars all the way!

our tour guide Caryanne ( spelling may be off) was fantastic, very knowledgable and had a great personality. eight of us went on the tour and had a great time. can't wait to take one of the other tours.

Mr. R was a fantastice tour guide. The tour offered the perfect blend of good food, humor, area history and comradory. I booked a second tour on the spot to Chinatown.

The food tour was going to be something for our group to do together in NYC Saturday am... I never thought I would have had such an amazing time learning all the history and interesting tid bits of the neighborhood we chose (Greenwich Village). It was AMAZING!!!!!! That doesn't even do it justice! I wanted to move into Greenwich Village during, but most certainly after our tour. The food was just an added bonus! Our group thoroughly enjoyed the tour and I know we cannot wait to come back to experience your other tours!!! AWESOME job and amazing hostess!!!!! :)

This is a great fun way to learn more about the area and eat good food along the way. I highly recommend these tours, this is the second time I have done one. The tour guides are very personable and knowledgeable about food and the history of the area you are touring.

It was a lot of fun and very informative! Not too much to eat tho, leaves you wanting more.
