| I was in doubt before taking the tour but now I can say that I had a very good time. I was lucky as the group was small, only 5 of us but I saw another group of 16 which is in my opinion way too many. For some reason we bumpt into that same group several times during the tour, such things could be co ordinated better. We got to sample 7 or 8 different local delicacies and they were all really really good. The tea/herbal shopkeeper was the only not very welcoming person and I would just skip that place as there are so many other good ones. No need for a lunch after such a treat. The tour is interesting for both food and culture lovers and you get to see and hear about the area. The guide was friendly, knowledgeable, dedicated and genuine. Go for it! ps. would highly recommend you to start the tours in Brooklyn, there are so many interesting places with real people doing a great job | ||||||

| The guide was excellent, both his knowledge and his enthusiasm. The tour walked around SoHo/Village to many spots where we learned the history of the neighborhood. This was a walking tour with some food tastings added. I expected it to be a food tour with walking involved. We stopped to hear the guide talk about restaurants, but didn't/couldn't go in. So what's the point of bringing everyone there? It seems promoting restaurants in SoHo/Village was the tour's objective. If the tour had brought the group to tasting after tasting after tasting that would have been great. It was what I expected. The guide could have discussed some (less) of the neighborhood history inbetween restaurants/cafe stops. Instead, the tour was only accented by tastings. It was primarily a walking tour. If I wanted to join a "walking" tour specifically, I would have. I expected far more tastings than what we had. I especially didn't appreciate being walked into restaurants where the group didn't have a taste of anything. The guide introduced and promoted many restaurants, but we didn't taste anything from the menu. My recommendation is not to bring a Food Tour group into restaurants if the group isn't going to taste anything. The guide spent half the time recommending that we return to eat at these restaurants while in New York. Unfortunately, this was a walking tour promoting neighborhood restaurants with tastes of food here and there. It wasn't what I expected. | ||||||

| No better way to spend an afternoon in NYC than with a fabulous personal tour guide like Kurt who brings a little known neighborhood to life. His entertaining and historical background stories added so much to our enjoyment of the Chelsea Market and Meatpacking District. It was great to meet business owners, learn about their shops and sample their specialties. Lots of delicious food samples. We thought the price was well worth the tour and food samples that took the place of lunch. Look forward to doing another Food Tour next trip to NYC. | ||||||

| What fun! Our only regret was that we didn't take the tour our first day in New York. We felt like locals after the tour and returned to the neighborhood that evening for dinner and desert and gelato. Our 13-year-old son tried and loved (almost) everything. Thanks Kurt! | ||||||

| We enjoyed our food tasting tour so much. All the food tastings and everything else extra information, for example about the Meatpacking district, was so interesting and well told. Our language skills are not so great but it was not a problem. We understood almost everything. The guide Sam was great! Three hours went too fast. We warmly recommend this tour to everyone. Go there! | ||||||

| Wow!! My daughter-in-law told me about this tour, so I talked my friends into it!! I can't imagine what our trip would have been like if we hadn't gone on this tour! I mean it when I say that this tour MADE our trip!! It was the best thing we did & we saw tons of sights! This was our very 1st trip to NY & I would suggest everyone - even locals- take this tour. CINDY was the best! Go hungry! And take extra money b/c after the tour is over, you will want to shop in the places you saw! I would do this tour again! | ||||||

| My husband and I really enjoyed this tour, and it inspired us to go back to the area a few days later to revisit some of the places recommended. Our tour leader Kurt was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic. A great experience, one of the highlights of our holiday. | ||||||

| Barri, our tour guide, was terrific. She was enthusiastic and well informed. The tour was well organized and researched, we learned lots about the Village, and the tastings.... fabulous! I no longer will wander around The Village wondering where to shop, browse, eat, or go for a fun evening. My out-of-country guests were wow-ed. | ||||||

| This was one of the best things we did in New York. Our tour guide was informative and a lot of fun. I am definitely doing another tour the next time I am in New York. My only recommendation for future customers is to take the tour at the beginning of the trip. I wished we had more time to go back and enjoy the places we had visited. | ||||||

| OUR TOUR GUIDE DID AN EXCELLANT JOB. I THINK HIS NAME WAS DARRYL. THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS. DID HAVE A HARD TIME GETTING THERE FROM UPPER WEST SIDE & THE WEATHER WAS BAD BUT NOTHING TO DO WITH THE TOUR. I WOULD HAVE LIKED TO HAVE HAD THE COOKIE AFTER THE OTHER FOODS IT KIND OF SPOILED MY APPETITE. I WOULD DEFINETLY RECCOMEND THIS TO OTHERS. | ||||||
