| There were four of us on the tour and we all love it. Kurt was just the best and really new his stuff. I did the tour last year with a girlfriend and Cindy was our tour guide and she did the best job. With going a second time I was sure that it could not be as good as last year and it was. Great job Kurt! | ||||||

| Although the tour was fabulous,, I think it would have been more enjoyable to spend the first hour in the market with a few samples of food, then go out to the meatpacking district walking tour, then last hour back in the market for more sampling of food. There was just too much food in a small period of time........................ | ||||||

| This was a great experience. The information regarding the neighborhood was very interesting. The food was delicious and plentiful! A small tasting of wine woud have been a great addition. Would definitely recommend it to all and will probably take the tour again, myself! | ||||||

| Jenny, our guide was wonderful. She knew everyone and everything. She made it interesting, informative and fun! We have been on many tours in many cities this made us feel a real part of the community. Our daughter (21) attends CIA in Hyde Park New York and was delighted with the information and knowledge. This totally changed our image of " New Yorkers"; we now love the village. Vicki and Reggie Williams Robin Williams Montgomery, Al | ||||||

| If you ever worried about crime, grime or unfriendly people, RELAX! This is the nicest, cleanest and funniest tour you can take in New York. I'm only sorry I didn't make reservations sooner for all the other food tours. Our guide was humorous, knew all there was to know about the food and was a walking history book of the neighborhood. The food was delicious too but that was only the highlight. The guide made it a fun experience. I would recommend this to anyone, young or old. It rained and was still a blast! And if you're lucky enough to get Mr. Upton, it's your lucky day! Vicki and Brandi from Colorado | ||||||

| My daughter and I were a little wary of the 3 hour tour but it flew by because we were kept busy every minute. Our guide, Heather, was full of information and made the tour fun with her great spirit and love of Greenwich Village and her knowledge of the food served was fantastic. She opened our eyes to a part of New York that we had actually visited before but really had never appreciated. A quiet courtyard behind one of the restaurants was a complete surprise. The owners and workers inside the restaurants were extremely friendly and were open to our questions. The ones we had a chance to talk with were more than happy to show us their place of business and explain their foods. We visited a quiet area of residential homes and Heather filled us in on the history of the beautiful homes and businesses that we were walking by. My daughter and I forgot that we were less than a block from the busy 6th Avenue! We have plans on our next visit to take another of your wonderful tours. Thank you. Thank you, Heather. | ||||||

| Three hours flew by with the help of our guide and the food. Great shops and restaurants which helped us to choose a dinner venue for that evening (Cornelia Street Cafe - Jazz too) The history was interesting and you got a good sense of the atmosphere of the "village" Thanks | ||||||

| We have gone on other walking tours but have never enjoyed one so much as this one. Our guide -- I think her name was Kim--- said it was her first guide on her own. She was fabulous!! Very enthusiastic, informative and had a wonderful sense of humor. We would highly recommend this walking tour. We loved it so much we are planning on doing it again next year! Thank you, thank you. In an area where everything is so expensive, this was a bargain an well worth the small expense. | ||||||

| The food was so versatile. Our guide was intimately knowledgable of the Greenwich Village area and history (his name is Kurt, with red hair). My only suggestion would be to add a glass of wine with the cheese, olives, bread tasting. It's a great tour, well worth the money and time. | ||||||

Review of Greenwich Village Tour

| My husband and I liked the area & shops...it was nice to experience a small village within the city. It was fun to taste different foods from the local stores/restaurants...although we could have done with one less pizza tasting. We ended up going back to a couple of stores and buying olive oil and cheese! The tour guide talked too much about the cost of everything...not enough local history. We didn't seem to really connect with the tour guide. We thought three hours was way too long...should have been two hours max. | ||||||

| Our group of 6 ladies had a tremendous time on the tour, thanks in large part to Amy who was so knowledgeable about the history of the area, the architecture, and of course the shops and restaurants. The food tasting along the tour was quite good and more than an ample lunch. Based on Amy's recommendation of several local restaurants, we chose Palma for dinner that same evening. It was excellent and reasonably priced. The comphrensive list provided us (which includes a map of the area) enabled us to return to several places to shop. We are already talking about doing the Chelsea Market tour if our group visits again next year. It helped that the weather was superb, but regardless of weather this tour is a five-star. You won't be disappointed. | ||||||
