Foods of New York Tours

The tour was great. I took my boyfriend for our year anniversary and we both really enjoyed it. The food was yummy and the architecture history was fascinating. We live in the area so it was great to further explore an area we felt we "knew." The tour guide was a little cheesy, but funny and spirited. The rest of the tour group was nice and respectful. Even on the coldest day of January (which it was), it couldn't have been a better thing to do. Already thinking of the next tour to take!

Our guide Michael was extremely knowledgeable of the area and the background of each of the stores/restaurants we visited.

Our guide did a fantastic job of explaining the area, giving great anecdotes and insider tips and providing insight into best kept secrets. The tour was well worth the price of admission within the first 20 minutes! I'd highly recommend this for anyone looking for a fun day out, or abetter way to explore the city. We had more than enough food for lunch -- and really enjoyed the tour from beginning to end. I will do this again next time I have guests in town.

My boyfriend and I live in New York City. We moved here this summer. We took the Greenwich Village tour a few months ago and loved that. The Meatpacking Tour was everything we expected and more. Great guide and fantastic food! Highly recommended!

One of the best tours I have ever done. Great balance between food, facts, and historical knowledge.

We had a great time on the food tour. The only down side was the weather, which was cold and a little snowy. Otherwise, the tour was wonderful. Our guide was very informative, the walk was nice and the food was delicious. I would highly recommend it to my friends.

This tour was truly unique. Our guide, Mike, was very knowledgeable about the Village and extremely entertaining. We all agreed that the food tastings were great. I would highly recommend this tour and we will be booking another soon.

It was a wonderful experience. The only kind of negative comment I have was mostly our fault. We forgot our e-ticket and only had the instruction sheet with us. So we went throught all kinds of hoops to get our daughter to go to our house to see if she could find our e-ticket to send to us in NYC or if she could find it on our e-mail. After quite a bit of trauma, we got the problem solved and our daughter was able to fax the certificiate to us. We were so relieved, however, after all of that, our tour guide never asked for it. Our names were on her list and that was all that was asked for. I woke up at 3 am and fretted for 5 hours until we could call our daughter to see if we could remedy our problem. If she had not been able to help us then we probably would not have arrived at the destination thinking that we would not have been able to get on the tour. I just needed to get this off my chest as I would have been so disappointed if I had missed this experience. Our tour guide was Barrie and she was super! Joan Hopper

I took my boyfriend on the tour for his birthday, because what boy doesn't love food, and it was fantastic. Our tour guide, Cindy, was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. The food was delicious and provided a lot of variety. Even though we are local, it opened our eyes to so many different small restaurants to come back and try. Cindy also provided us with a lot of historical facts and architectural knowledge of the buildings in Greenwich Village. I would definitely recommend this tour.

My husband & I had a great time visiting the area, the stores, and tasting the food. Cindy, the tour guide was personable, entertaining, had a lot of interesting information and a lot of fun. Thank you for a wonderful & memorable time !!!

I enjoyed the tour and the food. My only complaint is there was not enough food for me to sample. I would like more. The items selected were excellent, but I was starving after the tour.

I would highly recommend this tour! Our tour guide, Curt was extremely knowledgable and engaging. I honestly think that everyone on the tour would say something similar. I did the same tour about a year ago and also had a good experience. This tour was different than the last and that made them both enjoyable.

My sister and I brought my mom on this tour for her birthday. We are front New Jersey and often go to NYC. We were looking for something different to do (we always go out to dinner and see Broadway shows). This activity was perfect for us. We got to eat, found out a little history about the area, and had a great time. OUr tour guide was excellent, too. My mom is very hard to please and she left the tour saying she would do it again anytime!

I highly recommend the Central Village tour. Learned and ate a lot. Our guide was terrific. Will do another.

I enjoyed learning about the west side of the village. Don't expect to get full with the small samples that are provided. You will pass by many locations and do not sample their specialties. Over all, I recommend this for those who want to know where to go eat in the future and how to get around this area.
