delicious walking tour

| We were with 2 other couples and there were about 14 others on our tour. The pace was very easy with lots of stops and breaks to sample the foods at various shops and to purchase items. Our tour guide, was very good and very friendly. We had cookies and milk, seafood chowder, bread, cheese, olive spread, italian cold cuts and ice cream. Everything was delicious and we were full by the end of the tour. We also went to the top of a hotel for a great view of NYC and saw several famous hot spots along the way. | ||||||

| One of the most informative guides and tours that we have been on. I would not miss learning about the history of this area of NYC and this was the best way to do it. We would like to bring our 3 grandchildren on a tour designed for children around 10 years and hope that you have one as good as this one was. | ||||||

| This tour comes highly recommended by a native New Yorker who now lives in Virginia. There was a good mix of information both cultural, historical, as well as excellent food tastings from select locations along the way. The informaton on rest- aurants, different shops , and specific entertainment spots will serve as a good resource for me when I return to Central Village and Soho in the future. The guide was both personable and knowledgeable and set a comfortable pace for all on this tour.I also liked the fact that we were given written informaton on the spots visited and the tour had a maximum of 16 people which made it easy to keep up with the guide and ask questoins. In a few short hours I felt that I really got to know this area and will be more at ease navigating this section of N.Y. and making better restaurant & eatery choices when I do frequent this area again. | ||||||

| Overall, I found this tour to be very enjoyable. As a local, I got to learn more about some of my favorite Greenwich Village spots. However, I was surprised to see that many mainstays were not mentioned or visited -- Magnolia Bakery, Corner Bistro, and Mamoun's to name a few. I also thought the tour was a little heavy on the pastries. But I had a great time and would absolutely recommend this tour to others. | ||||||

| As I also did the Greenwich Village tour, this tour was recommended. Honestly I thought the Greenwich tour was much nicer since everything was outdoors and the Chelsea Mkt was indoor. Unfortunately at the day I was at the Mkt tour, it was pooring rain and indoor was better. Still, it was an interesting tour with a lot of information and good food. I would recommend this tour for sure. | ||||||

| We had a very nice person showing us around and she did a great job. No complaints here. The food was very nice that we had with the tastings and I would recommend everybody to do this tour. I had a great time. Also the weather was in our favour so that made it to an Excellent 3 hour tour. | ||||||

| These "noshing" tours are excellent and great fun. The food stops were exciting and varied and the foods chosen were excellent. My husband, our 20 year old son and I all enjoyed every minute and were educated as well. | ||||||

| We all enjoyed-(husband, son-age 20 and I) the Chelsea market tour. We never would have known about this new area if it weren't for the walking tour. Each store was fun, unique and all the different food tastings were delectable. We did 2 food walking tours and both added a lot to our NY vacation. Thanks. | ||||||

| We had a wonderful time on this tour and learned quite a bit of history as we experienced the Chelsea Market and the Meatpacking district. Our guide was knowledgeable, charming, and very good at keeping us at a good pace (not too fast, not too slow). The food we tried was quite delicious, and we also enjoyed seeing the other places in the area our guide thought would be interesting to point out. Although it is a food tasting tour, I believe the historical facts our guide provided were the perfect icing on the cake. We actually returned later in the week with a local friend and pointed out all the same interesting things we learned on the tour! And of course, we took the time to do additional shopping and eating at the market! | ||||||

| We had friends in from out of state. I had taken this tour earlier this year and considered it one of the best I have taken. We took our friends on the tour, and they thought it was great. Our tour guide was very enthusiastic and knowlegable. I would recommend this tour to all. | ||||||

| The tour was great!! Our tour guild was one of the best we've had yet! He was funny, and very knowledgable about the history of the area we were in! The food was amazing! Im so glad that we were able to try things "we wouldn't usually order." It really opens your eyes to all of the different types of food that are out there! We would highly recomend anyone going on this tour!! | ||||||

| What a great tour! I had a blast! Our guide not only knew about food but also provided wonderful insight to the neighborhood, architecture and NYC history. All the places we visited were terrific and the food samples delicious. I returned to most of the stores we visited and bought goodies to take home and share with friends. I am very interested in taking the other tours you offer and I have another must visit destination on return trips to NYC. Thanks to Kurt (one of the best guides ever!) for an amazing intro to Chelsea Market and the surrounding area. | ||||||
