Foods of New York Tours

This tour was very understated in the description... We went to quite a few more places then were actually described and they were all awesome. The food and area was great, but the actual tour guide is what made this tour amazing! He was hilarious and informative. I would definitely take this tour again.

Pleasant trip around a block or 2. I enjoyed another food tour more.

I loved our tour guide, Kurt. He was funny and very knowledgeable about the food and area. He knew all of our names and made sure we were all included during the tour. Since I've returned home, I have told several of my friends how wonderful the tour was. I have also done the Greenwich tour a couple of years ago and loved it. It really is a great way to try some great food and to get to know the history of the area.

We had a very good experience:the guide was professional with much knowledge and humor.The food was tasty. It was a suprise to see the tradition and young generation folowing thier parents.Every place was very welcoming. We enjoyed very much this tour,that offered a different kind of learning about the greenich village.

1: Outstanding: The tour was absolutely fantastic and certainly the best thing I've done in the city thus far! Every stop on the tour was delicious, and our guide Curt was very enthusiastic, humourous and knowledgeable. I enjoyed the information that he gave, that went beyond just talking about food! 2: Being an exception: What was really above and beyond for me was how thoughtful Curt was. My friend who was supposed to come with me on the tour was unfortunately sick. So Curt kindly offered to make sure that I got a sample from as many places as I could to give her later. Although my friend missed out on the experience of the tour, I was able to bring her a taste of it, which she very much appreciated! Thanks again to Curt for his consideration and doing something so exceptional!

Carrie Ann was our tour guide and did a great job. Very informative and great food tastings. Went back to O & Co and ordered enough for free shipping back home. Can't wait to go back to Palma's. I did have to stop in ti Rocco's for a cannoli and back to Milk & Cookies to take my husband some treats.

One of the highlights of my trip to nyc

From Pittsburgh visiting my daughter in Brooklyn, and this was the second food/cultural tour we have attended. Tour guide was terrific, so full of facts, and so knowledgeable about Chinatown. The tastings were sit down and all delicious. Very nice restaurants. Staff at each went out of their way to provide a memorable experience. We will definitely try another.

What a great way to EAT NYC!!! Great Pizza!!! Entertaining and Knowledgeable Tour Guide. Gonzo Mac and Cheese!!! Double Live Gonzo Chocolate Chip Cookies and the best Deviled Eggs topped with Truffle Oil you will ever munch on!!! Went back to each stop after the tour for eats and take home stuff!!! Especially Murry's Cheese Shop!!! The tour makes you want to hang out in Greenwich Village the rest of the day, which we did, and eat at all the places we didn't stop!!!

Nobody could fail to be satisfied with the superb quality, quantity and variety of food and liquid sustenance on offer on this tour, which I took at the end of May 2011, on my last day in the city at the end of a short break. The guide was extremely knowledgeable and brought the whole experience to life, with information on the history of Chinese settlement in New York, the development of Chinatown to what it is today and his own personal experiences of the area. He pointed out various venues to explore after the tour - from bars to restaurants to shops - in addition to those we actually enjoyed along the way. I have made careful note of the places we visited and the menu recommendations for my next visit and have no hesitation in recommending the tour most highly to future visitors. Also represents great value for money.

This was my second Foods of New York Tour and it met the high expectations I has as a result of my very enjoyable first tour. I was completely satisfied. Rahim was very enthusiastic, welcoming, outgoing, informative and fun. I ate well and learned a lot about the food we enjoyed, the restaurants in which it was served, and the surrounding neighborhood. This was all infused with insights only a local New Yorker can provide. I would easily participate in a third tour the next time I'm in NYC. I highly recommend this company.

I really like the experience, actually I would love to have more walking. Dont get me wrong, more walking to burn calories as fast as possible. Really, the food was very, very good, portions satisfying and restaurant selections were really nice. I particulary enjoy the Pecking Duck House @ 28 Mott St. And the final dessert a "Tiger' something roll, was splendid!

It was really hot but that did not interfere with the tour. Loved every minute and would definitely do it again. I used to go to NYU and this tour brought back many good memories.

Raheem, our guide, was knowledgeable and very pleasant. The tastings were all delicious. The portions were satisfying. The selection of the restaurants was decent. Can't wait to do another tour!!!!

This tour was the perfect introduction to Greenwich Village, providing an insight into what is available for people on all budgets - whether you're looking for a quick slice of pizza, to put together a wonderful picnic for an afternoon in the park or to have a great night out. Bars, delis, bakeries, pizza places and a la carte restaurants of all shapes and sizes - but beyond that, an introduction to the hidden world beyond - including venues for poetry readings, theatre and more. On this occasion my stay in New York was a short one, but I look forward to my next visit and returning to the wonderful places visited on this all-too-short introduction. Excellent value for money and highly recommended.
