Marie has great enthusiasm for her subject, was full of stories and brought passion & fun to the tour - great job. The food was just great - more than you would need for a large lunch and excellent variety. I would highly recomend this 3 hours taste of NYC at its best - both my wife and I thouroughy enjoyed our day (and excellent value also)!

Four of us went on this tour on Nov. 3; it could not have been better. The tone was set by Curt, our guide; he made certain that he and we knew who everyone on the tour was and from what country they came. His detailed explanations, his selling of the compnay and the places we went, and his energetic personality made everything spactacular. This was the opinion of every member of the group. We laughed, we mingled with each other, we wallowed in the information given by Curt, we came awy with a feeling that things could not have been better. We thouroughly enjoyed the tour. The good weather (in early November) helped, but we feel we would have enjoyed it anyway. We had excellent food and an enthusiastic and likeable guide in Marie. We recommend this tour.

It was both enjoyable and informative. A pleasant and filling way to find out about the delights of Greenwich Village!

The tasting part was great fun and delicious. We went to a variety of tasting locations. We also toured the historic area of the Village and learned about the history of the area. My first visit to the Village , and I want to go back!

A highlight was our guide she was excellent and had a great knowledge of the area and the food,also a good sense of humour and was able to hold the group together.

This is a fan.tas.tic tour to do in NYC! My sister, my cousin and myself were really looking forward to this on tues 1st nov, but, never having done a food tour before, weren't sure what to expect...well... It was *such* a highlight for us with the delicious Sefra leading the culinary way, that we had to play it down to the rest of our group later so as not to make them jealous! Sefra was both informative and hilarious to us wee Irish girls, and the food was exquisite... Especially the cookies at "milk and cookies", and I had to go back to the hotel to get my "fat" trousers!! Do this tour!!

This tour is not only delicious but fun and informative as well! Sephrah was an amazing tour guide--so much personality and so vibrantly passionate about the neighborhood. I learned so much about the origin of the neighborhood, its food, and its people, when all I was really expecting was food! Portions were also larger than I expected; I certainly didn't need lunch afterwards. I will be dragging friends back to many of the wonderful places we visited on this tour.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Kurt. He made the food tour fun and we both appreciated his enthusiasm. We learned a lot about the neighborhood and visited a lot of little restaurants/shops that we would never had known about. I had told him we were in NYC to celebrate my birthday and on one of the food stops, he found a candle to put in my gelato, lit it and everyone sang me Happy Birthday! I was so touched! I am also gluten-intolerant and Kurt made sure I was able to eat at every stop (even at the gluten heavy pizza place!) This tour ended up being one of the highlights of our trip and we wouldn't hesitate going again or recommending it to others. Thank you Kurt!!

Just loved this tour and our really enthusiastic guide Kurt! Ample food, lots of wonderful stories and a great intro to Greenwich village. We loved it!

The food was good and interesting. The guide was well informed and personable. I will return to many of the places we visited. I learned alot about the Village. And, I will take at least some, may ALL, of your other tours.

A lot of food with some history and culture. You will enjoy it.

My NYC friends were jealous that we had more insight into the area than they do. Fantastic way to spend a few hours

We were very lucky to have had Bert as our guide-enthusiastic, knowledgeable, fun, witty-the perfect host. He made everyone feel very welcome, and was able to answer any question asked of him. After the tour we felt we had really gotten to know a little corner of Greenwich Village really well, and had gained some local 'insider' information-much much more than if we had merely wandered those streets and shops by ourselves. In fact, after the tour we returned to Cornelia St and booked 'Home' for a meal the following Wed evening, where we had a great meal. That evening we also picked up cards from some of the other restaurants on that street, for use on our next visit. All in all, a great experience!!

This tour was the highlight of our trip to New York. It was great to try a range of delicious food from unique places we probably wouldn't have found ourselves. Our guide Bert was very friendly and unbelievably knowledgable about the area, in terms of the architecture, the history, famous residents etc. The tour was very laid back and it felt like Bert really made an effort to make the tour unique - eg by taking us down to the Cornelia St Cafe theatre, taking a short detour when my wife asked if we could see the Friends building etc. Highly recommended.
