We booked this tour because of the good reviews we read through this website and true enough it didn't disappoint us. Kurt, who was our tour guide is funny and very knowledgeable about the places not only with the Greenwich Village but also with the surrounding areas. The places we went to were all good and at the end we're so filled that you don't need to eat your lunch afterwards.

kirk was our guide. Funny, knowledgable, exciting and full of energy. Food was awesome, we were stuffed. The information he had about the neighborhood, it's history and residents was fantastic. We intend to do this tour again on our next vacation. Thanks for some great memories.

Carrie Anne was our guide and she was fantastic. My husband and I were on our honeymoon and saw the entire city of New York. But this was our favorite area. We would have missed out on it if it wasn't for this tour that our family insisted we take. This is how you find the good restaurants!!

Great tour....Loved the tour guide named Bert. He was incredibly knowledgeable and funny. Food was great especially the dumplings.......Look forward to doing it again next year.

Our group thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Barry...she was fantastic. The food was great. We returned to many of the tour stops. I learned a lot about the village as well. Totally enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this tour....and Barry..

The tour was good. I liked the food tasting and the history that comes along with it. Tour guide was very knowledgeable.

This tour was highly educational, touching on the interesting background of the business owners and the developer of the Chelsea Market, as well as the history of the neighborhood and the market building. Our interest is peaked to visit the neighborhood on our next trrip back to NYC. We definately enjoyed the market and want to come back there as well. The food we tasted was exceptional from the lobster bisque to the organic chocolate milk. We were a little disappointed that there was not more food purveyers to sample, there was more in one of the other tours we did a couple of years ago. But it was a wonderful day and money well spent.

Three hours of fun, enjoyed great food and learned a lot about the village. Our tour guide was friendly, knowledgable and engaging. we had a great time. Higly recommended.

The tour leader Bert was excellent. He was very enthusiastic and clearly enjoys what he is doing. He provided a lot of interesting info on the food and the neighborhood. All of the stops and food were very good. The shop owners seemed very appreciative of being part of the tour. It was a great, relaxing way to spend an afternoon. I would definitely recommend it to others - local and foreign visitors.

I really did not know what to expect and was extremely pleased with our tour of the Chelsea Market/Meatpacking District. Our tour guide Cindy was terrific and had a sense of humor. The tour was very interesting and the food tastings were extensive and more than I had anticipated. I would definitely recommend the tour and I would be happy to try another tour with the same tour company.

The Nolita tour was fantastic and Annie (our tour guide) was a joy! She was so informative, nice, enthusiastic, and warm. It was like we had been freinds for years. The tasting at The Smile was so good I went back the next day for lunch. Also, the pizza tasting at Emporio was wonderful and it was awesome to see the chef at work. I didn't think it was possible, but I enjoyed the Nolita tour even more than I did your Greenwich tour I attended a couple of years ago. I can't wait to come back to NYC and do another tour w/ you guys soon!

Having visited New York before in 2007 and having done the traditional 'tourist' things - Empire State, Rockerfeller, Liberty Helicopters etc we were hoping to find different things to do and this food tour was the perfect answer. Friends recommended the tour so we booked tickets and enjoyed an excellent and informative sunday morning tour of Chelsea Markets and the meat packing districts, we also got to walk part of the High Line which demonstrated a different aspect of the area. Our tour leader was excellent, well informed and clearly passionate about his subject. This was the best $100 we spent all week and would recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in the history of the city and also to get access to some great views and that you would not find in any guide book - if you cant get on a tour or dont have the time make sue you visit the market for a great experience.

My two sisters, my sister-in-law, and I were in town for the weekend to celebrate a birthday. This was a great way to get a "taste" of NYC. Susan, our tour guide, was super! My husband and I are looking forward to trying out another tour.
