Guided by a knowledgeable, charming, and patient host, the tour was excellent - from the history, the wonderful little local stories - to the fine food. We'd do it - or another like it - again any time!

We have never spent any time in Greenwich Village and didn't know what to expect. What we got was a great feel for the village, wonderful food and a REALLY fun time! Our guide Sephrah was very knowledgeable, has a great personality and was just all round fun! We would highly recommend this tour!

We thoroughly enjoyed our walking food tour of Greenwich Village. We appreciated the food as well as the historical information provided. The guide was informative as well as extremely amusing, and the food was delicious. We will definitely purchase another tour whenever we return to New York.

A friend of mine and I recently visited New York and participated in the Greenwhich Gourmet Walking Tour. We had a great time. The locations we visited were fun, and the food tastings were delicious and generous. We were given more food than I could actually eat. Our tour guide, Curt, was not only informative, but he was hysterical. He really made the tour memorable. We found ourselves quoting him and laughing about things he said for several days after the tour. The tour was well worth the cost. I highly recommend it, but I would definitely request that Curt be the guide.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our three hours grazing our way around the East Village. Guide was informative and entertaing. A great way to get a taste of this enchanting bit of NY

Bert, our guide was knowledgeable, personable and well informed about the historical area. I wish, instead of a big cookie, we could have had a refreshing gelato or Italian ice.

I thought this was a really great way to learn some very interesting history of the village. It was well organized, the participating vendors were on time and very friendly and the tour guide was superb! The food samples were very generous. Bert was the guide for my tour and he was very attentive, knowledgable, and funny too. We had a beautiful day of sunshine. I think the only downside to this tour would be poor weather. I would recommend this for sure!

I believe the quide was a gentleman by the name of Rahim though I may be mistaken. The quality of the tour is really a result of his knowledge and personality. He did an outstanding job. We enjoyed our visit but we must admit that we were disappointed. The main issue is that we stood still on the sidewalk at many of the places we visited while our guide went inside to get the different food samples for the tastings. Thankfully, we made it inside Murray's Cheese Shop, a great gourmet shop we absollutely loved. Unfortunately, this is pretty much the only place we went inside that had a true special feel. We had a better time in Chicago when we went on the old town tour. Nevertheless, the tour was informative and an interesting way to visit Greenwich. We felt the second part of the tour was more interesting when our guide told us about the neighborhood rather than restaurants.

Food, info, guide, everything was great. highly recommended if you are into chinese food. You also get a lot of ideas of restaurants to visit later, so if you are on holiday I recommend having the tour in the start of it so you have the time to go back and further investigate the restaurants visited. Great experience, and the guide, Rahim, had good knowledge.

I enjoyed Heather alot....she was very interactive with our group and provided so much additional information besides just food and food history of Greenwich village. I truly enjoyed this event and cannot wait for a return to NYC to attend some of the tours offered by Food Tours of NY.

the food tasted was awesome and the tour guide's knowledge of the Greenwich history, architecture and present restaurants was amazing. We will definitely be spending more time in Greenwich on our next visit and will be taking in more food tours!
