| This tour exceeded our expectations! Even though it was the hottest day of the summer, our beginning at Dim Sum Go Go was a perfect way to begin. Rashid was fantastic - thorough, friendly, and knowledgeable. Loved the Peking Duck, and loved all the details Rashid gave us. Really enjoyed the stop at the Chinese medicine store - bubble tea was fun to try, and we really appreciated that Rashid shared his freebie with our 8-year old son. We would highly recommend this tour to others (already have!) and will definitely explore other food tour options with you next time we visit New York. Thanks for the highlight of our trip! | ||||||

| This was our second Foods of NY tour--the first being the Greenwich Village tour in May. Sampson was our guide, and he was a joy to spend the afternoon with. The Chelsea Market is a true gem as is the entire ever-evolving Meatpacking District. We learned so much about the building, the vendors inside the market, and the whole area. The food tastings were wonderful and substantial. We even ventured to an area restaurant for an early dinner upon the recommendation of Sampson. We were VERY pleased. We will definitely include another tour in our next NYC visit. | ||||||

| Our group included me (39), my husband, and my parents. Our guide, Christian, was outstanding and did a great job of showing us around a small area of Greenwich Village. The food stops were great and timed well. My dad--a first-time visitor to NYC was wowed by the tour and considered it the highlight of a very well-planned trip. My husband and I will definitely be taking another tour our our next visit! | ||||||

| This is one of the best experiences you can get in New York, the information and history is a bonus to the fabulous food sampling. I did a tour 2 years ago and loved it and I think this one actually has more food. Go for the cheesecake alone, it is divine. The guide was good and if you happen to get Cindy, she is absolutely outstanding. Its a compact wonderful insight into thsi area, its history and some great restaurant tips. I have sent many friends already. Book it, fantastic value! | ||||||

| Raheem, the tour guide, was very interesting and informative. The food was really nice. I don't eat pork, so he substituted one of the tasting for me. One stop was a sausage store so no substitution there.. Be aware of that if you have any food restriction..Overall, great experience. I took the Grinch Village as well, comparing both, I liked the Grinch more, but I think it just my personal taste, cause both were very interesting and tasting! | ||||||

| First of all this tour was fabulous as was the tour guide, Cindy. The history and nuances of the Market was fasinating, not to mention all the delectables found inside. My husband is a gourmet cook and everything was on par with his cooking. We had a short walk around the neighborhood, perhaps a little shorter than normal for it was quite cold. I felt fortunate to have seen the area before "progress" takes over. Unfortunately I had a meeting to go to so I couldn't revisit as many shops as desired. Be sure and allow yourself 2 extra hours to browse the stores, restaurants, and neighborhood. In fact go ahead and make early dinner resevations at Frank's Steak House and use the in between time to indulge in the area. It will be first on my list for my next trip back to NYC. Maybe I'll be able to stay in that area! | ||||||

| How should you spend your day in NYC after 6 inches of wet snow just fell and is turning to slush? Why go on an outdoor food tour of course! And we did; not a single no show. We went in and out, around and about, and tried to work off all the delicious calories we placed into our mouths. We had Barri (that's with an i) to keep us moving which was no small feat, not because of the cold, but because we wanted to stop and shop, smell, and watch as the wonders of about 4 blocks unraveled in front of us. This is definately a not to be missed tour, but do yourself a favor . . . don't plan anything after it. Leave yourself a few hours to revisit your favorites. | ||||||

| My friends and I had a wonderful time on this tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable and very friendly. I've been to the Village many times before, but never realized just how charming it is. Our guide took us to places that didn't even seem like we were in the Village. We got to go into several places through the "back door". Very , very interesting . Then we got to sample many of the shops delicacies and what a treat that was! After the tour my friends and I went back to several of the shops to purchase their goodies. It was a wonderful tour and very well worth the cost of the ticket. I'll recommend this tour to many of my friends. Thanks for providing us with a another view of Greenwich Village. | ||||||

| My husband and I really enjoyed the tour. Our guide, Marie, was very knowledgable about the area and kept good control of our group of 16. We were surprised at the amount of food because we thought we would just get "bites" from the various shops but it includes two full slices of pizza, a huge cookie, cheese, olives, homemade bread and a cannolli! The walk through the historical part of The Village was interesting. A side of New York we had not seen before. | ||||||

| Do this on your first day in hopes that you may return to enjoy some of the wonderful restaraunts. If you must eat before do it early, don't eat right before the tour as I did or you will be way too full. Great places, wonderful knowledgeable guide. I would love to see this tour in other areas of the city like China town or Little Italy. | ||||||
