| I would encourage anyone to take this or any tour offered by Foods of New York. The Chelsea Market was fabulous, as was the inclusion of the Highline! Major bonus! Bob, our guide was knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. As with all food tours, it gives you great insight into the neighborhood and new favorite places to go!! Don't eat prior, you'll get plenty of generous samples--YUM!! | ||||||

| I used to live in NYC but spent very little time in the village. I go back a few times a year but until recently, spent most of my time in midtown. I was surprised at how much I didn't know about the rich history of the West Village. The great food and a beautiful Sunday afternoon made the tour a highlight of my trip. I would recommend it to tourists as well as locals. | ||||||

| Bob was our tour guide and he was fantastic! We got a little bit of everything -- local history, sightseeing, and of course, lots of great food. (We even had a surprise mini tour of a private brownstone in the neighborhood.) The tastings were the perfect amount of food. We left satisfied and enlightened. What a terrific afternoon! | ||||||

| I expected more historical, cultural information of the area. The first half of the tour was just an advertisment of the local restaurants, including their menus. Second half was better. It would also help if you had bus directions on your web site and if the tour guide wore a name tag. Overal it was worth the money and I would recommend it to others. | ||||||

| This is a fun way to get to know about the area. The walking is not too strenuous; there's lots of stopping along the way for some really great food. We saw lots of small out of the way places that we'd like to go back to. Definitely would do this again. | ||||||

| Enjoyed the information provided by our tour guide. Enjoyed the tastings. Wish we had more time in New York to further explore some of the restaurants discussed. We would recommend it to others traveling in the area but suggest they do the tour earlier in their stay so they would have time to try some of the establishments discussed. | ||||||

| I went on this tour in 2006 and in 2009. Had fun and food both times. Would like a more little variety for this repeat customer. (We even had the same tour guide!) But that's nitpicking....the tour was definitely worth it. And I'd even do it a third time. | ||||||

| This is a must!!! What a great way to taste your way around the Chelsea Market. The food was fabulous & Darryl, our tour guide, was the best. This is one of our favorite things we did while in New York City. | ||||||

| I went with a couple of friends and we had a fantastic time! The food was great and the host was full of information and he kept it fun! Anyone looking to try some great new Japanese food and learn about the culture in a fun and relaxed way should check this out! I'm excited to try a different food tour! | ||||||

| Half of the food was amazing, and the other half was average. Although the walk through Washington Park was pretty, I would have preferred to spend more time at eating establishments or food boutiques. If would be great if the company would purchase those disposable ponchos and then sell them on the tour, as we spent half of the tour in the rain. | ||||||

| Alls I can say is I wish I could live in "The Village", I love to cook and eat out and there is something for everyone here. The tour was very informative and the food was fantastic! I need Murray's Cheese shop next door to me! Go on this tour and have fun...a must do in NYC. | ||||||

| We are 4 friends from Ontario on our 1st group adventure to NYC. One of the group had participated in your food/cultural tours in the past and was eager for the rest of us to experience the same. From start to finish we had a great time. It rained, but it did not matter a bit. The food was amazing.....the mohitos at "Cuba" were out of this world! Along with the great food we had the history of the area told to us by a great guide, Rahim? Rahib?......he was delightful, fun, knowledgeable. | This tour was wonderful. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly. The information that was given was informative and interesting. The places where we stopped to taste food items were great and I would definitely go back to those places to eat. | ||||||
