It started out with an introduction by our guide Bob. I can't say enough about Bob and his knowledge of the area, his witt and professionalism. The food was fantastic and filling. What more can I say but that this tour has opened our eyes to a whole new way of experiencing New York. We are now planning to take all of the food tours. What an enjoyable experience! |

This was my first time in NYC and the tour was fantastic! It was a great way to get to know a 'neighborhood' and discover some off the beaten path restaurants. The tour guide was friendly and very knowledgeable. The tasting choices were wonderful and a good variety. The only negative I have to note was the lack of available seating. I have taken other food tours and you were able to sit at each stop - on this tour there was only seating at two of the eight stops which resulted in standing for almost the entire three hours of the tour. |

The tour guide and the tour was phantastic - great variety of food tastings
To visit 2 empty restaurants was not as interesting as we thought - I would take that out of the tour and stay longer at the market to have more time within the shops. |

Went on the Chelsea Market tour and overall enjoyed the experience. The food portion was ok and the history was very interesting. It was a fun way to see the area. The only complaint were the two restaurants that were visited. This seemed to be a time filler and advertisement for the chef/owners. it was unnecessary to go inside the restaurant if there was no food portion. |

Our group included a middle-aged couple and two 20-somethings, plus several other ages and nationalities. We were all enthralled with Sephrah's knowledge of the neighborhood and her ability to weave the history of the Village into the food available in the area. She was entertaining, funny, knowledgeable and gave us a great introduction to the lifestyles and foods of the area. All four of us HIGHLY recommend the tour...if you can request a tour guide, you'll be in delightful hands with Sephrah! |

This tour was the first of its kind for us and we widely enjoyed it! As soon as we are back to Manhattan, we are definitely going to check out another one. Great food (definitely pack hunger!), a wonderful route and a superb feeling of being part of NYC. |

I have been on several of the Foods of New York tours and have to say that the new Nolita tour was one of my favorites. I thought all of the food tastings were delicious and portions were generous. As always, the tour guide was friendly, knowledgeable and helped make the tour a wonderful experience for our group. Thank you Foods of New York! |
