Our tour guide had lived in the area, which made the tour even more interesting. I want to return to Greenwich Village on my next trip to NYC and do some exploring on my own! |

I really enjoyed this tour. Some great tasting food - some of the best from around the world - accompanied by some really interesting history of Chelsea market and the local area. We also bumped into the gentleman who opened the market and got some of the story from the man himself. Very enthusuastic guide and a great group. Nice to see the highline as part ofthe tour, and a great finish at Macelleria. Only two minor points for improvement - it was a little odd that we started the tastings with a cup cake...felt a bit wrong, and sometimes it seemed that the guide didn't have time to answer our questions. But other than that, really great experience, much better than the usual touristy stuff in New York! |

I took my 11 yr old and 10 yr old because they wanted to do something different in the city and had never really explored Chelsea. They loved the food and all the stories/history shared by our guide. It was an amazing day and wonderful way to experience a neighborhood. |

very enjoyable, good food (except the mac and cheese) and learnt about foods and village architectural history. guide was vivacious and amusing but sometimes didn't project voice well enough for group of 15. |

It was a wonderful afternoon with our great tour leader. We had some good tastings and went into very interesting places- am looking forward to going back to the places he brought us to on the tour. I am going to recommend these tours to friends- and want to give a tour gift certificate to my kids who live in the city. |

A married couple from England, who love eating out. I enjoy cooking too, and felt this tour had some useful tips, and gave me some good ideas for future dinner parties. A good variety of tasting with some interesting local facts thrown in. The guide, Sephrah was friendly and had a dry sense of humour.
3 hours was enough for us. WE had our best meal in NYC to date, after a recommendation on this tour. The Palma on Cornelia Street ...... Excellent tasty and original fresh food. |

We booked this food tour on recommendation of a coworker who took it last year. I'm not a "tour" person and usually make fun of those who follow the big umbrella person shouting orders at the cattle drive of tourists on a busy street but this was nothing like that...
First there were only a dozen people in our group and our tour guide, Bert was AMAZING! You could tell he has a deep appreciation for the neighborhood of Greenwich Village and a chef-like knowledge of food. I was a little concerned about the time dragging by (3 hours) but it flew by and I learned so much. Bert seamlessly weaved in history of the restaurants we visited, food facts and fun landmarks in the Village. We had a great time and it was an awesome way to get to know one of our fav neighborhoods in NY more intimately. |

Bert, our "leader," was a fantastic guide during this tasting exploration of some of the wonderful restaurants of Greenwich Village. Furthermore, he provided background information on what this village is all about, both today and historically. All in all, it was a great experience and one I can enthusiastically recommend!!! |
