| Our guide, Diana, was awesome! She is full of historic facts and makes it fun to hear about the origins of the Chelsea Market building. She always had us laughing! It seems she enjoys the tour as much as we all did! Lots of great food, great vendors, and fun! Would definitely recommend it! | ||||||

| I get to visit NYC often as my daughter works in the city and have seen just about every "tourist attraction" available; however, this tour was one of the best! I was so surprised how much we learned about the history and culture of Greenwich Village. Our guide, Michael, was wonderful! He was so knowledgeable and made the tour very interesting. Oh...and the food was great too!! We got to sample 2 different types of pizza, cheese & bread, rice balls (something I never would have chosen from a menu, but were delicious), chocolate chip cookie, and another type of pastry. My favorite stop was Chumley's (a place you would never find on your own) and learning the history of the bar/restaurant in it's prohibition days. I've already "hinted" to my daughter that this place has to be on the itinerary for my next visit!! Just a word of caution - be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes. You will be on your feet for almost the entire 3 hours (more standing than walking). We did get to sit down at Murray's Cheese Shop while we sampled the cheeses, bread from Amy's Bakery, and olives. You can't go wrong with this tour; I've already suggested it to a few friends and co-workers. If you get Michael as a guide, you will not be disappointed. I'm excited to also try the Chelsea District/Meat Packing Tour. | ||||||

| The food is great, tried some new things we had never eaten before. Very educational, the history of the area is very colorful and interesting. Because of our experience on this tour, we plan on returning to this neighborhood and these food establishments upon our next visit, and feel very comfortable going at it on our own. We had such a great time on this tour and we are now "Olive Oil Snobs" (those of you who have been on this tour understand what we mean). We are also planning on doing the Chelsea area food tour next year when we return. Our guide Curtis was the best...he is knowledgeable, very personable and way too funny...Thanks Curtis you really made our tour memorable and our favorite activity on this visit to the city! | Although some of the food offerings were very good, others fell short. Particularly, good was the canoli (Rocco's), but the pizza (Joe's) was average, at best, and I prefer thin crust pizzas. The cheeses offered were also average. I also thought the history of the neighborhood was good but could have been better. I would rate this part an 8.5. | ||||||

| Our tour guide Diana was extremely knowlegeable about the SoHo area. The food samples were great to try. They picked things you probably wouldn't normally try on your own. I highly recommend this tour, but do it at the beginnings of your trip, so then you're informed of places to go & eat/try, | ||||||

| Barri, our guide, was very enthusiastic and very knowledgeable. We all had a great time we even went back to several of the shops after the tour to pick up snacks to have before our show that evening. We are planning to include many of the resturants and activities she recomended in our next visit to New York. It was a great way to have lunch and great break from the crowds. We are also going to include one of your other tours in our next visit. You did a wonderful job Thank You! | ||||||

| I really feel it was quite expensive for as much food as you got on the tour. The tour itself was very interesting... our guide was terrific and made it a lot of fun. I just thought for a food tour you would get more food, though. All we had was a croissant, milk, some salt (this was the worst part, who wants to taste different types of salt?!), a biscuit with spreadable fruit, soup, bread with salami and cheese, and lemonade. All spread over three hours. We were starving when we left!! My friend went on another one in the Village, and that one was much better (food-wise) than the Chelsea St. Market tour. But again, the tour itself was good and the tour guide was great!!! Next time, MORE FOOD!!! | ||||||

| When my sister and I met Michael and our group in front of Murray's Cheese Shop, it was a hot day and I wasn't sure what we were in for. The first tasting with cheeses, breads, and proscioutto was spectacular! Visiting the historic town, learning some interesting history, and stopping in two Italian bakeries for samples, cookies, two kinds of pizza, and a rice ball were more food than we could eat! Michael was very knowledgeable about the town and made our tour interesting and delightful. My sister and I returned to Greenwich Village twice! Once to eat at delicious Palma's and the other to get a gourmet bag lunch from Murrays with some Mint Green Tea on such a hot New York day to eat in Central Park! I would (and am) recommending this tour to anyone heading to New York and I am very thankful for such a pleasant introduction to Greenwich Village. | ||||||

| I was a little hesitant booking the tour. I kept thinking $80 for my husband and me to sample food!? It is so much more. The tour guide was so knowledgeable and genuine. We really enjoyed learning about the history of Greenwich Village and fun facts. The food we tasted was delicious. I highly recommend this tour. You will not be disappointed. | ||||||

| Our tour was in Oct 2008 with Rahim. The whole experience was amazing from our first meeting right through to the end of the tour. Rahim was extrememly knowledgeable about the village and the different sites and I found the tour informative and the food selections to be excellent and varied. I highly recommend this tour and would love to go back to New York to try to other tours offered. | ||||||

| We did this tour on the last day in NYC, and since we were exposed to the Greenwich Village and all it has to offer, I wish we had more than just one dinner left on our trip. It would have been nice to go back and wander around more, maybe eating in one of the great ethnic restaurants we learned about. However, I recommend it regardless of when it fits into your schedule! | ||||||

| an excellent, fun and informative tour, we really enjoyed it, we we went back to the Home Restaurant, Chumleys and both patisseries over the next few days. We loved Greenwich village and following the tour would probably opt to stay in the area if we return to New York. We would recommend to friends. Our guide was Jewish thespian with mad hair, name lost in fog of jet lag but great fun. Thank you | ||||||

| Michael was excellent and had immense knowledge and the tour was very interesting. Only bad point was could have had more food and was quite expensive for what it was. It cost us well over £100 for 4 people. | ||||||

| My husband and I recently took my parents and 15 year old niece on this tour (I've done the Chelsea Market tour too!) It was just as informative, fun, and filling as the Chelsea Market tour. My parents enjoyed the history of the Village and my niece enjoyed the pizza! I hight reccommend these tours. You get to find out about places you would never find on your own. Now, we know the best places in the Village for our next trip into the city - | ||||||
