| Off we went early one Saturday morning, a group of women friends, to explore an interesting section of New York. Our train ride was filled with questions of what we would see and eat! Many did not have breakfast and wanted to get started on our adventure as soon as possible. After a quick taxi ride, we were amazed at the Chelsea Market and all the beautiful food items inside. We quickly met Bob our tour guide who told us not to eat before the tour! After an explanation of the history and current situation at the Chelsea Market, we had a chance to ask questions as we began to explore. It seemed we were constantly being offered delicious food options from cookies to delicious soups, as we strolled through the market marveling at the sights. As the tour continued many of us said we could not eat another thing, to being offered nice cold gelato. Who could say no? The trip up to the High Line was an opportunity to see the street life below. To end at a wonderful restaurant to enjoy homemade pasta with oxtail ragu was a terrific ending to a wonderful day. My friends made me feel like a hero, they want to know when we can come back. Thank you for offering such a terrific experience. | ||||||

| This tour was better than expected. Not only do you get a good tour and history of Chelsea Mkt., but we also enjoyed seeing the Meatpacking District and even the new Highline "park" area. The food was all very good and there was a lot of it. In fact we were almost too full! There were some locals on our tour and they all thought it was great too. Went back to the Mkt to shop and also to one of the other restaurants for dinner later. Highly recommend it! | ||||||

| This is a great way to see the Village, taste the local cuisine and get a good dose of history. I had done a similar tour of the Village and told some friends what a great experience it was--they all wanted to go so a group of us got together to go on this tour. Everyone was very pleased and enjoyed the whole experience. Would definitely recommend this tour and we all agreed that we would do it again. | ||||||

| What a great afternoon we had with Darrell on Saturday, Sept 12. From the first encounter with the tour leader to the last stop at the top of the hotel, we had such a fun and interesting and informative time. We may not come back together, but as individuals, I'm sure we will be there again with our friends and/or other family members. Thanks for the memories. | ||||||

| MY 4 FRIENDS AND I ENJOYED OUR TOUR VERY MUCH AND WE FELT OUR GUIDE WAS ENGAGING,HIS KNOWLEDGE OF THE FOOD ESTABLISHMENTS AND THE FOOD WERE AT A SUPERIOR LEVEL. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TRIP. . MAYBE TIME COULD'VE BEEN INCLUDED ON THE TRIP TO PURCHASE ANY OF THE ITEMS. WE WERE UNABLE TO RETURN TO THE BEST PLACES. WE HAVE DONE YOUR TRIPS BEFORE AND PLAN TO TAKE ANOTHER ONE. | ||||||

| We had a fantastic time on this tour, with some amazing food and great commentary on the Greenwich area. Would definitely try some of the other food tours when we go back to NYC - loved seeing the real side of New York, and meeting a few foodie characters along the way! | ||||||

| Despite the horrible weather, the tour went ahead, and Heather our guide was enthusiastic, friendly and very knowledgeable. Their were 8 food tastings hich included cheese, pizza and cookies, but also some more specialist delicacies. The recommendations were also excellent and we returned to 2 of the restaurants on the tour at later dtes on our stay, and they were amazing evenings. I would personally recommend you take the tour at the beginning of your trip just in case you want to see more than a fleeting visit of one of the excellent stops on the tour. Many thanks! | ||||||

| We had a ball and thoroughly enjoyed the tour - hit all the hot spots - great tips and insight into the history of the Village - I would have loved to have booked Chelsea too. It was nice meeting other people on the tour and getting recommendations for dinner bookings.. Loved it and we are both big foodies!! | ||||||

| I moved out of Manhattan 20 years ago and this was a great way to see all the changes that have come to the meatpacking district. The guide knew all about the area, both old and new. The food was fantastic. | ||||||

| It was a great way to learn about a part of NYC. The brief history and the food tasting was the right combination. One suggestion: for rainy days the tour guide should offer plastic ponchos for sale. It would be another way of making money and getting people to be more comfortable. | ||||||
