Foods of New York Tours

The tour guide was entertaining, quirky and knowledgeable, all the quailities you would expect and want from a NYC tour guide. The tour was informative, and the food samples delicious. Excellent value for the money. I would highly recommend this tour to locals and tourists alike.

I got tickets for myself and two friends for a Food Walk during our stay in New York. I'm so happy I did. We all felt that this was the highlight of a wonderful exciting few days. I thought that this would be a fun thing to do. It was so much more. We tasted lovely food, learned so much about the area we visited and Diana made it exciting with her wonderful energy. .In the next week or so, I'm going to arrange to go on a food walk in my own city. I expect that I'll find a friend to come with me.........Thanks for turning me on to Food Walks Diana.

The food was really great. The guide was informative, warm, and organized. The only disappointing thing was going into two empty famous restaurants and not getting a chance to sample any of their food. It would have been nice to have a little something.

What a great combination of tasty food and fabulous architecture threaded together with history by our enthusiastic tour guide! Can't wait to go back!

The tour is great by itself, but the tour guide made it awesome. She was knowledgeable and dynamic. We had locals in our group, and they felt like they were seeing NYC for the first time. I highly recommend the tour. It's a great way to try amazing food and to learn more about the city. Nice job!

Our tour guide, Bert, was truly a delight. He has so much local knowledge, which really elevated the cultural context of the food tour.

I enjoyed the interesting descriptions of the neighborhoods. The tour guide was well informed and treated the members of the group respectfully. It felt a bit rushed but we covered a lot ground and I wouldn't have cut anything out. The food was interesting, not too filling, and well spaced over the 3 hours. Toilets were available at appropriate intervals. Getting an adult beverage at one restaurant was a bit rushed.

Loved the East Grenwich and SoHo Tour. Our guide was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and made the tour a real treat. The food tastings were superb and exceeded my expectations. Definitley great value !! I highly recommend the tour.

Barri (sp?) was a great tour guide who provided lots of information and a lively tour of the neighborhood. This is my second food tour (Greenwich Village last time) and although I liked the food better on the first one, I felt I learned more about the neighborhood this time. 5 stars!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our tour of Greenwich village's many wonderful food treasures. Many of the stops were off the beaten path. Our tour guide did a great job of giving historical background with food facts and kept the pace comfortable, but moving. We were very full when it was done - the portions at a couple of the stops were rather large - I recommend pacing yourselves and limiting some quantities to a half portion.

We enjoyed the three hours of food tasting and exploring the village. We were so excited to taste the foods of the area as well as discover new restaurants. I will definitely return to the West Village to explore some more. My entire group raved about this tour for days.

This tour is a great way to learn more about Greenwich Village, while enjoying a lot of great food!

Our tour guide was Darryl. He was very informative, friendly and made the tour alot of fun. This is the second food tour I have been on and already have a group interested in the next one. I find the food tours to be a great experience, we learn alot about the area, history and different foods being represented as well as an overall good value for the price.

Darryl, our guide, was fabulous! Not only was he a foodie, but he was quite entertaining and knowledgeable about the area. We sampled the best in Chelsea Market, thoroughly enjoyed the Meatpacking District, and basked in the sun on the High Line. We laughed, and then after the tour, we took advantage of the 10% discount and bought tons of things! This is our 3rd Foods of NY tour, and one of the BEST!
