Our walking tour allowed us to taste food items of restaurants that we would not normally have visited. It was fun, informative and enlightening. Diana, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable about the Village. Diana kept our group together as we walked throughout the various streets. Our group of 4 met the next day at Caffe Del Mare for drinks, proceeded to a wonderful dinner at Monte's, then drinks and dancing at the Blue Note. We had a wonder exposure to the Village neighborhood and would highly recommend the tour. We would have liked the tour to include a visit a "Pub" that would allow liquids as well as "spirits", but the our was about food and exposure to the variety of options in the neighborhood. We had a great time and would definitely recommend the tour.

This tour was very well organised.The guide was lovely and very knowledgable about the area as well as the food and shops visited. It was great value for money and the two and a half hours flew in. There were just the right number of people - i think 17 from memory. There was a great variety of food to taste and shops to visit-we learnt much about the area and the local restaurents-the booklet provided had many good reccommendations for us to try. It was a different and very worthwhile and enjoyable tour-a must do as part of your trip to new york. There were a few famous buildings along the way too. The food was delicious and water is also provided. I would definitely like to try the other tours now in the meatpacking district and china town and i know i wont be dissappointed. I highly reccommend this tour as a must do.

We loved our tour guide Kurt,who seemed to know everything interesting and pertinent to the area. The food was excellent and very plentiful.This was the best decision we made on our week long stay in New York. Highly recommend!

Last Saturday, my husband and I went on the eating and historic Greenwich Village tour. Our guide, Marie, was excellent, she had lived there so knew things other than what is in books about the neighborhood. The food was wonderful and the history was entertaining. The walking part is a good outing, not too strenuous but you did feel less guilty about eating all of the great food. We stayed in the 'Village' and enjoyed a glass of wine after the tour. We will definitely come back to shop and dine at places she pointed out and places we visited. Loved meeting the people on the tour, thankfully, it was a small group, less that 14, so we all got to know each other. A very diverse group.

this tour was a great way to quickly get a grasp of this fascinating neighborhood. I never would have known where to go, nor been able to taste such a wide variety of different foods on my own. i especially appreciated the historical and cultural insights shared by the tour guide. On future trips to New York, i am more confident to further explore this neighborhood on my own.

I had taken the tour a few years ago, but my daughter just moved there and I wanted her to learn more about the area. We both had a great time, Some of the places were different than before but it is awesome how long some of these establishmentrs have been around. We felt privileged to know where the locals go! I have also done the Meatpacking tour.. Both are very enlightening and a great view into an area missed by so many tourists.

The tour was a good mix of great food, history, architecture, and things I'd have missed if I was just walking through the area. Well-organized and paced, personable and knowledgeable guide, a variety of food spaced throughout the 3 hours. We had a 9 and 17 yo with us. I would definitely recommend the tour to friends visiting NYC and hope to try the food tours of other areas on future visits, as well as return to dine at some of the places on this tour.

Food portion of the tour was good; I would have liked more inclusion of more food-related stops and less lengthy lecture on the surrounding buildings, ironwork, artists, politicians, the Bronx, etc.

My grown daughter and I were visiting from Chicago and thoroughly enjoyed this tour. Our guide, Rajid(?) was very informative, accommodating, and sensitive to needs of his tourists. This tour combines culture, history, exercise (3-4 hours of walking), and dining (albeit standing up)...and it's worth every minute. Sure our feet were tired by the end of the tour, aching, in fact; but the food was good, company great, and we got to "know" this part of the city (SoHo/Greenwich Village) pretty well. I definitely recommend visitors (as well as locals) to one of the culinary walking tours, esp. from this tour company. We'll definitely do this again (Chelsea Market/Meat-Packing District?) next time we're in NYC. Again, you have a great tourguide in Rajid(?) our guide on October 11th (12-3 p.m.).

I believe Cindy was our guide. She is a wealth of knowledge - not just about the restaurants we toured and tasted, but also about the area, the people, the architecture and the businesses. I really enjoyed the tour. All the samples more than made up a meal. I did return to do some light shopping and snacking later. I will recommend it to friends for sure. Probably the most unique part of the tour was the salt tasting. I never gave it much thought before. I myself would have prefered more chocolate to the salt, but it was still very informative.

In spite of the constant downpour on our tour, this was the highlight of my NY trip! Cindy,our guide, was extremely knowledgeable about the area. It was refreshing to have a guide who is a local and really knows the history and culture of an area. Besides that, she was just plain fun! In addition to all the great food, she gave us a real personal tour and is very passionate about the Village and local shops and eateries.I will definitely take another tour with your company.

I had a great time on my food tour of Greenwich Village! My guide had so much enthusiasm and connected well with the entire group. She had our best interests at heart and was so kind to provide us with extra "heavy duty" napkins! I loved learning about the different restaurants and finding out where I need to eat next.

Lots of good food, infomative and educational as well as lots of plain old enjoyment. I totally recommend this tour to anyone. Our guide, Amy, was lovely and sweet and quite knowledgeable about anything we asked her.
