| My husband and I were told by a friend to try a food tour on our day trip to NYC. Every time we have been to the city before, we just shopped and hung out. We just cannot stop talking about our experience on this tour and our tour guide, Susan, is absolutely wonderful. She told us so much interesting history about Central Village/SOHO. The food was outstanding and we were very impressed with everything. We cannot wait to come back again and try another area food tour! We just hope that all of your tour guides are as great as Susan. Thanks for a great 3 hours! | ||||||

| We absolutely loved our tourguide, Susan, and the SOHO food tour. It really oriented us to the city for our first day here, plus gave us a taste of what we could be eating and the best of what there was out there. Our guide was kind, warm, educated and fun--it was a great time. I'm not a fan of tours, but this was the best of all worlds and I wish I could do all of them! | ||||||

| I have nothing but good things to say about our food tour of Greenwich Village, and I cannot wait to do another tour on our next visit to the City. Our tour guide was FABULOUS (very knowledgeable and funny); we learned so much about eating in the Village and it's history. I would follow her anywhere. I wrote down her name so I wouldn't forget it, but of course can't find it now. I can only tell you that she is also a pastry chef, who will soon be famous for her bacon cookies. Give the girl a raise! We loved all our tastings from the best Pizza any where to Murray's Cheese shop to a lovely Cuban sample and so much more. We definitely didn't need lunch and were worried we couldn't eat dinner. I have been coming to NYC for years, and almost always buy theatre tickets, but from now on I will include a food tour. I highly recommend this tour. | ||||||

| My first FoNY tour was the Greenwich Village edition at a time when there was only 1 a week. Since these early days I have done the other tours and this one ranks as one of the best due to a good (sit down) location to start with, a good balance of local history and gossip, a great combination of foods / styles. The weather was also great for November which also helps. I guess the biggest improvement to the format was the number of venues that were ready and waiting for the party - both with the sample dish but also place settings, cutlery, seats, ability to order drinks (beer / cocktails), etc. The guide was very good, inclusive and attentive - one of the party had their birthday that day and there was a special treat at the Cuban stop for him. Strongly recommended. | ||||||

| Our Tour leader was Diana and she was great. She had so much knowledge of the area and really enjoyed sharing it. The food was incredible. I hope all the restraunts know how much we appreciated them! I learned not only about the food and the people who prepared it but also about architecture, chess hustlers, pop culture stars, and so much more. It's just a great way to get to know the city and learn more about my favorite thing, food! I'm very anxious to come back for another tour. I would love to have Diana again, she was so good at what she does, Thanks so much | ||||||

| What a wonderful opportunity to hear the history and savour the tastes of the Chelsea Market. This "hot " area is home to top restaurants and top designers and a has a fun feature in the High Line Park. Bob Gelber lead our group and was an outstanding guide. He knows the area intimately and knows the merchants personally. He was patient and humourous. This was a highlight of our New York weekend and we would highly recommend the experience. | ||||||

| Just moved to NYC -- wanted to find out a little bit more about some of the neighborhoods. This walking tour was a fun and delicious way to learn about Greenwich Village. Heather, our guide, was friendly and knowledgeable, telling us not just about the restaurants and food, but also about the neighborhood itself. The food was great, and I loved having a booklet with information about all the places we went (and more!) so I can be "in the know" when I return. It is a walking tour, and you're on your feet for several hours, but it doesn't really involve a lot of distance -- more like strolling up and down a few blocks. | ||||||

| Good tour, good food and highly recommended especially if you want to get to know the area and good restaurants. Diverse mix of food, oh and our Saturday excursion got an extra stop at a Cuban restaurant, courtesy of Heather, that we defiantly recommend even if you don’t get to taste the food. Go and enjoy… | ||||||

| This is one of the best things to do while in NYC!! Our tour guide-Heather-was excellent . It is a side of NY that should not be missed. It rates as high as the Eastside Tenement Museum. | ||||||

| I'm a born and bred New Yorker so I did not expect to learn as much as I did! Our tour guide - Bob - was incredible. Full of interesting and little known facts. And the food was great! What I loved was that I got to try things I may not have otherwise ventured to taste - and I enjoyed everything! Everyone I brought on the tour also really enjoyed it and I know we will all enthusiastically recommend this tour to anyone and everyone looking for something fun and different to do in NY!! | ||||||

| We have been to New York a few times and this time looking for something different to do. This was a wonderful activity. It took us to a different area of the city. The tour guide was great. When we come back next year we will do this again. It was exactly as described. Plenty of tasting. | ||||||

| This tour is better than the Central Village Grenwich food tastig tour as there were more sites to see, there were more restaurant sit downs, the tour was longer for the same price. I really enjoyed both tours. | ||||||

| My friend and I were very impressed by the quality of this tour. Our guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and presented the tour in an easy-going style. The food choices were also excellent - don't eat beforehand as this is definitely enough food for lunch and plenty to get you through to a later dinner (I would not recommend an early dinner reservation as this tour ends mid afternoon). In fact, consider trying to book one of the restaurants that are visited - we wish we had. Highly recommended!!! | ||||||
