We have lived on Long Island our whole lives, and visit the city at least monthly. As Italian American foodies, we really enjoyed the choices for stops on this tour, as the food was delicious, and we were taken to parts of Greenwich Village that we never knew existed! This tour is really rich in culture and history as well as amazing food! Would highly recommend it to all! Marie was very knowledgeable,smart, and funny, and made you feel like you were one of her oldest friends! Can't wait to do another tour!

I like that the group was not too big and the tour guide, Darryl was great!

I recently took the GV food tour and had such a great tour. The group had 16 people so it was a perfect size to be able to hear our guide and be involved. The tour was more than just a food tour. We learned about the community, how the restaurants came about, what makes them unique...our tour guide knew so much it was incredible! We had a total of 9 tastings, I admit I was a bit skeptical with our first tasting being pizza, but wow it was incredible! The food at all 9 stops was incredible and by the tour end I was stuffed! A lot of the people on our tour had done a tour the day before and I will definitely do the Chelsea/meatpacking tour next time. I was also a solo traveler but felt completely comfortable with everyone and never left out....whatcan I say food brings ppl together. I give the tour 5 stars and highly recommend it!

Daryl was my tour guide both times I took the tour. He was informative and has a great sense of humor. I highly recommend this activity. The food was delicious. We went back later to shop and buy things of interest.

I had been on this tour a few years ago with a friend with Barri (sp?) as the guide and thought my husband would enjoy it. We had Marie this time and around and it was just as good a time and he enjoyed it thoroughly. I constantly recommend your tours to friends, acquaintances, and strangers! I've been on your Soho and Chelsea Market tours as well and can't wait to try Chinatown and Nolita! Keep up the good work!

I took 6 girls (around 15-16) to celebrate my daughter's 16th bday along w/ my husband and i for this tour. At first I was not sure how it was going to work out. The girls loved it, ate everything and found it interesting! it was something different and we all learned a little bit about this part of the city. We were all stuffed by the end but still had room for the last stop: cannoli. Yum. Highly recommend it. The girls could not stop talking about it to their friends, teachers and parents back home.

It was a good mixture of food tasting and history of the area. Nice to wander around the streets and get a good look around.

guide was great

Went to NYC with a friend. First time for me but my friend was there many times previoulsy. She never took the tour in the past so it was a first for both of us. Our guide was Bert. He was wonderful. Very knowledgeable, personable, and seemed to enjoy what he was doing. The food was great! We were stuffed by the time we completed the tour. I would recommend this to everyone. We were not rushed as some tours can be. The employees at the establishments we visited were all very pleasant. Well worth the money.

We had never been to this area of NY and wanted visit and learn. The food tour did not disappoint us. The guide was enthusiastic and knowledgeable. The tour was fast paced and the treats were delicious. We will certainly look forward to experiencing all the food tours that are offerered!!!

Had the best time, it was very informative and fun. Food was great, you wouldn't think you get enough to eat but it is more than you realize. Our guide was very friendly, informative and fun. I would recommend this tour to anyone.

Bob was our tour guide and he was just amazing. So knowledgeable on every aspect relating to the tour in addition to in-depth knowledge about New York City, generally. He was pleasant, smart, interactive and kept the whole group engaged. The tour was fabulous - food tastings delicious and the pace enjoyable. It was fun to be both inside and outside - highly recommend the Chelsea Market Food Tour to everyone.

Having visited some years ago we returned with teenagers this time wanting to see another side of New York rather than just the iconic sites like the Statue of Liberty etc. I cannot speak highly enough of the whole experience of the Greenwich Food Tour. It was the best thing we did in NY for the 4 days we spent there. The guide, Marie, was entertaining, extremely friendly and knowledgeable and had a real passion for the area that shone through the whole time. Both my 16 yr son and 13yr daughter loved it too so its not just for older people. The food shops and restaurants we visited were all of an excellent standard and provided such good tasters that we went back at the end for another slice of pizza and more rice balls. I am already recommending it to friends and family in the UK and would certainly do another tour when we are next in the city. Please don't change and become too big or commercial, its the friendliness and informal style that makes this so much fun. We also enjoyed mixing with Americans from other parts of the States who as always were great company and a brilliant advertisement for their home country!

Our tour guide was amazing. he was funny and very interactive. I was a little disappointed in the food samples we received. I did love the pasta at the end.
