Foods of New York Tours

I've been to this area many times in my life and never realized all that was there. Our guide was great and the food was wonderful.

We had a wonderful experience on the tour. Not only was the food absolutely delicious, the tour guide was also very knowledgeable and taught us a lot about the history of the Village. Even though I live in New York, I learned so many new, interesting tidbits. I am also excited to go back to the shops we visited. Overall, this tour was an excellent way to see the neighborhood and get a good meal along the way!

Excellent food tour and would highly recommend it to anybody visiting new york. Undoubtably the best thing we did on our trip!

The guide was very knowledgeable in the history of the area and of the restaurants. She was very pleasant and personable. Of the multiple samplings, there were only 2 that were not appealing to my friend and I, but that was due to our taste preferences. This is a long 3 hour walking tour, so if you can't handle that, DON'T DO IT! There were people in our group that were unable to keep up and it was annoying to the rest of us. Overall, this was a great tour and I am definitely going to book one in another area for my next trip!

The oppotunity to try a little bit from a half dozen places is wonderful. Our guide pointed out a number of restaurants and shops we wouldn't be visiting on our tour, including brief desciptions. We ended up going back to Little Havana that night and had a wonderful meal provided by an excellent staff. Even got to converse with the chef. None of which would have happened had our guide not mentioned it on the tour.

I would recommend it to anyone it was a great experience and we had a great tour guide. Thanks i look forward to the next one i try.

My 2 brothers and I got a gift certificate to the tour for our dad and bought tickets for ourselves as well. It was SUCH a great way to spend time together! We are all foodies and trying such delicious unique foods while also gaining knowledge about the historical significance of Greenwich Village was awesome. As a local New Yorker who lives on the East Side I don't frequent Greenwich village very often, however that will DEFINITELY change after discovering some of the village's unique treasures!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed this cultural tour of the West Village. The combination of neighborhood history and scrumptious food tastings provided us a sampling of Village life that truly made us feel like "locals". Kerrianne was an extraordinary guide: her genuine, warm enthusiasm inspired a very fun and interesting group interaction. We plan on joining additional neighborhood tours each time we visit the city.

Kerry Ann was a great guide - showing us great places for food, providing history and local facts that brought the Village alive. We really felt we got close to New York in a way that most tourists can't connect without a local giving you their passion, views and gossip. I look forward to another tour when we return - the tour that showed us the real New York...

We had a great time travelling from spot to spot to sample all the great foods. Fabulous way to learn about some of the local spots, and to experiment with some different foods. Looking forward to going on some of the other tours as well.

My sister and I had a fabulous time on the Greenwich Village tour. Fabulous tastings at nine different places (I think it was nine - we stopped counting after the cookies at Cookies and Milk). Our wonderful guide, Marie, provided info and history about the restaurants where we tasted, and gave us tons of tips about restaurants where we didn't taste, as well. We finished absolutely stuffed, with a list of restaurants we can't wait to return to on our next visit. Marie also provided loads of fun info about the area in general, and the pace was perfect - we kept moving along, but my sister and I had plenty of time to chat amongst ourselves along the way. Definitely worth doing!!!!

Food, history, architecture- who could go wrong? I have gone on two tours so far and each time I go, I have so much fun that I start to think about which tour I will do next. Afterward, my friends and I list which restaurants we want to return to and we do so for the next few months.

This was such a wonderful experience and I am already looking into another one to attend!! Our guide, Susan, was phenomenal!! The entire day was perfect (until we got into a car accident when leaving). But that aside, the day was great and have already spread the word to friends and family about just how good it was!!

Cindy, our tour leader, was hysterical and made the tour! Our group had an amazing time and we would highly recommend. Not only did we get to taste amazing food but we got to see and learn about Greenwich village and experience it the way only few get to do.
