This was a wonderful experience. The guide, Curt, was fun and informative. He made a point to remember all tourists names. There was plenty to eat! We were so full at the end of the tour that we only ate a light dinner that evening. |

Our guide was part history teacher, part gourmet cook, and part stand-up comedian - the perfect combination! The entire three hours was filled with enjoyable banter between the guide and members of our group punctuated with a variety of the tastes of the premier shops and restaurants located within Chelsea Market and the Meatpacking District. |

I gave this tour as a Christmas gift to my daughter and daughters-in-law. We thoroughly enjoyed it. Our guide, Daryll was informative and entertaining. We had a wonderful group that just clicked. A variety of tastings were provided along the way and indeed lunch was not needed afterward. I have recommed this activity to all my friends and coworkers. I plan to give another "girls day out" this Christmas. We range in age from 35 to 65. |

We have been to New York many times but this is the first time we did a food tour. It was very enjoyable and we learned a lot about the neighborhood. I would highly recommend the tour. |

Very enjoyable! Not a must do, if you have some extra time in N.Y.you will see a side of the city not often visited by most tourists but well worth a visit. Food sampling made it even more fun |

Our tour guide was Susan( don't know last name). We were a group of 15 people. She was well versed in the history of the locations and restaurants we visited. I did not like the Middle Eastern food tasting site. All the others were great. A bottled water was offered prior to leaving the meeting place. The last 1/2 hr would have been nice to have had the opportunity for a little shopping. Otherwise, I defintiely recommend. |

Would highly recommend - this was one of of the highlights of my trip. They really know about food and enthusiastically share thier passion. We tried the best of everything from the locality and had some excellent recommendations for the rest of our trip. Great to do the first day you arrive for orientation and to get you started and excited about the tastes of New York. |

This was an amazing experience! The food tastings and the historical tour were terrific. We really enjoyed learning about the culture of the area and even went back and spent an evening in the area on our last night in NYC. What a great way to spend an afternoon. |

My second :foods of ny" tour, and every bit as delightful as the first.
Staying at a hotel uptown, i now know how important it is to visit
the local neighbourhoods in order to fully understand the history
of new york, and why the city so rightly celebrates its diversity in
food, music, the written word, and beautiful public spaces.
Our tour guide was so enthusiastic about the amazing people,
the brilliant food from the independent purveyors, and the famous
people who once lived in the area.
Listiening to his descriptions of life in Greenwich in the 50s and 60s,
I could envision the cultural energy that must have existed then.
Even today, the area hums with so much life, but without the guided
tour you would not be aware of what preceded. My daughter and I
thoroughly enjoyed the tour. As someone who loves literature, I could
fully understand why Henry James, Edgar Allen Poe, Bob Dylan, ee
Cummings, and so many others gravitated to this area that is so saturated
with life, and ideas.
Thankyou, thankyou Rahim, for an absolutely amazing experience..from
a culinary and a historic perspective. We will be back. |

Raheem made this the best ever NYC Food Tour!

This was our third NYC food tour and we probably enjoyed this one more than the others because of our enthusiastic foodie guide, Raheem (SP?). My husband and I lived overseas for 20 years and were delighted to find those special NYC only little pockets of European taste and culture on this tour. The food samples were all delicious; the anecdotes and history of the area were most interesting. We are encouraging our NYC friends to take the tour, or at the least send their out-of-town guests! |

The tour of Greenwich villiage was great. I loved the food tasting and learning the history of the area was great. I would do it again. I would like to come back and stay in the area. Greenwich villiage has a lot to offer. Our tour leader was great. It is nice when you have a bubbly personality person showing you around, you just feel better. |
