Foods of New York Tours

Bert was fantastic! He had a ton of information for us and was super friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our tour...learned a lot, and loved every one of our tastings. We are so glad that we discovered this tour and are planning on going on every one that they offer. A great way to learn about our city through our stomachs. We would definitely recommend this to everyone looking for a unique adventure.

The weather was freezy so it was nice to get inside at times. The guide was very nice and showed some personal interest at participants. The tastings were tasty and fresh and a good variety. Everything worked exactly as mentioned before.

Nice variety of food tastings. Great history of the neighborhood. Our guide, Rahim sp? made the tour! So knowledgeable and personable. We were so sad to say goodbye when it was over. Second food tour and we will definitely do another next time we're in NYC.

We had done the Greenwich Village tour and this was just as great. Not a lot of walking since most of the time is inside the market. Food samples were wonderful, more than enough for lunch. (An adult beverage at the wine store might have been a nice touch)

We were looking for something different for this trip to NYC & we found it with this tour! We had a very knowledgeable & enthusiastic guide who gave us lots of great information about the area & its history. The food samples from the various establishments we visited were just perfect. I'd recommend this to anyone - though I'm not sure kids younger than teens would really appreciate it.

This was one of the favorite adventures of my trip to NYC. The guide (Kurt) was very entertaining, funny, and smart. I learned a lot about the history of the area and had fun doing it. The food we tasted was all very good.

We had a very nice time with a lovely guide. We had nine food samplings all very tasty, although if you do not like cheese take another tour, as six of the samplings contained cheese! We walked around Greenwich and West Village and saw a lot and got info on some of the buildings and the history of the neighbourhood. All in all we recommend it.

What a wonderful experience this tour was. I highly recommend it and have to many already. Our tour guide (Curt) was fantastic and made it so much fun. He was very informative (and extremely funny) in many ways, from the businesses, food, neighborhood, and the history of Chelsea Market and the Meat Packing district. We learned a lot about the area and the food was WONDERFULLY delicious. Our tour was on a Friday and we made time to come back on the following Tuesday to shop and eat at the Chelsea Market. We will definately do other neighborhood tasting and cultural tours again. This was by far one of the best tours we have done.

We had a wonderful guide, Rahim. We'd had the good fortune to be his group for the Chinatown tour previously. He was very knowledgeable about the area, restuarants, history etc. The food was delicious. I took the tour with my 13 year old and he really enjoyed it. This is my 3rd tour and I've enjoyed them all so much.

Our guide was excellent...it was a very informative time and a very delicious time. I would highly recommend anyone participating in the tour of SOHO....
