Foods of New York Tours

I had previously taken the original Greenwich Village tour and last year took the Chelsea Market/Meatpacking tour. Like the others, this was an enjoyable 3 hour foodie romp that mixed in some history of the area. Thoroughly enjoyed by our entire party.

Susan our guide was punctual and friendly. She was really good about remembering our first names which impressed me tons. She was knowledgeable about the city, in particular the Village and SoHo areas. We learned a lot about the different restuarants, bars, famous people who once lived in these areas or made movies in them. And of course, the food was amazing! I loved the Cuba restuarant the most because by that time I was freezing and I think she sensed that it was time to take us all inside for a warm sit down intimate bite to eat. I took a food tour May of 2009... different company, and it was fun but the portions of food were not nearly as big as on my Village SoHo tour. I was STUFFED afterwards. So happy and highly recommend this tour to others.

We got to learn about the area and try out many restaurants we've never been to - really enjoyed the tour. Its best for New Yorkers so that you can return to the places you try along the tour.

We absolutely love your tours! This was our second tour with you and we will most definately do another next year. Raheed obviously loves the city and enjoys what he does. He was warm and welcoming and very attentive to the group. It was a fabulous tour from start to finish, and we loved all the stops and food tastings. We went back to visit many of the shops and restaurants over the remainder of our weekend stay. I am sure we'd have visited every one if we had more time! We have told a number of our friends and family members about your company, even people we met while in the city. It is an awesome service. My only suggestion is to develop more tours! Can't wait to see you next year!

We did the Greenwich tour with Barri, and had a great time! She was an excellent tour guide, and the food was amazing...we took her suggestions and went back to a few places later and enjoyed some fabulous meals/treats! We loved the tour and plan to do one in another neighborhood the next time we visit NY.

This is a great way to be educated about a very interesting part of New York. Our guide was very enthusiastic, knowledgeable and entertaining. We got to taste some amazing food and get some ideas of where to eat in the future.

We had originally intended to just visit Chelsea MArket and my girlfirend suggested the tour. What a fantastic idea! We got to see and learn much more than if we had gone on our own. The guide was fantastic. The food tastings were quite a suprise! I expected a bite of something , instead was treated to several bites at each place we stopped! Fantastic day in New York...do NOT miss out!!

Our guide Cindy helped make this one of the best trips to the City my family has done. We will be taking advanage of another tour in the future.

My Hubby and I went on this last week. Raheem was our guide and he was enthusiastic, informative, and really seemed to enjoy his job. The 3 hours went by too fast,, and we learned so much about SoHo and Greenwhich village. The food was amazing! We left packed! I would do this again,,, and recommend this tour for anyone who loves food!!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our time on this tour. We were surprised with the amount of information that we learned--both about food and the city. Our tour guide was excellent and made our tour most entertaining. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting something different, enjoyable, and informative when visiting the city.

This was a fun, educational tour that hit lots of great spots to nosh. Sefra, our guide, was fun, knowledgeable and engaging, and she kept the tour moving and lively. The selection of stops was very well thought out and gave a good variety of cuisines. Overall, I would say this is a good tour to take if you're looking for an intro to the foods of the West Village.

The guide Rahim was really good, very approachable and full of information, but had no control over the bitterly cold weather. More time spent indoors in winter would be better.

3rd time to NYC and our first tour. Loved it so much we called and booked the Chelsea tour Saturday! Absolutely loved the history, architecture, culture, venues, and the food. Each entrepreneur's story and food was delicious. Carrie Ann was great (knowledgable, engaging, and fun). Kurt (Chelsea tour) was worth the price of the tour just to meet him. Still laughing and smiling. Kept the brochures for our next visit and will definitely book another of you tours. Thank you!
