| My group and I thoroughly enjoyed this tour. The food was excellent, the guide was knowledgable and energetic, and we learned so much! We even brought our husbands back to the area a couple days later so they could experience it and the amazing food. We also participated in the Chelsea Market tour a few days later, and it was also excellent. And we were so fortunate to get the same tour guide, Curt Upton, for both tours! He is the best. | ||||||

| This was, by far, one of the most fantastic things we did during our 8 days in New York. Our guide, Kurt, was so knowledgable, fun, full of life and just downright enjoyable! It was one of the highlights of our trip and I can assure you, we will do it again!!! | ||||||

| The tour was awesome! Alot of walking but worth it... The food we tried was awesome you will not walk away hunrgy. I would recommened the tour! If you can ask for Cindy as your tour guide. She is very knowledge able about the area and was funny. | ||||||

| I would highly recommend this tour. It was very informative and the tour leader did a great job of giving historic background information. It was one of our favorite things we did in New York. | ||||||

| Heather our tour guide, although apparently relatively new to your group and the NYC area, was very enthusiastic and knowledgable. I have traveled to Manhatten many times on business and pleasure, exploring it pretty well except for the bouroughs. I learned a lot and found some fun, interesting new places to visit again. Most of the vendors we stopped at also seem to be engaged. We actually went back to them to purchase some items we saw. | ||||||

| I really enjoyed our tour guide Barri. She was fun, knowledgable, enthusiastic. I loved the food, the area, everything. She had great anecdotes and stories. I liked that the history and the architecture of the area was included. | ||||||

| This was my granddaughter's first trip to NYC and the tour stands out as one of the most memorable experiences. The group leader's enthusiasm and knowledge made the three hours in Greenwich Village special - with a new story around each corner. | ||||||

| We had a wonderful time on our tour of Greenwich Village. The food was delicious and there was enough food for 2 meals. Maria was a very friendly and informative tour guide. The 3 hours flew by because it was so much fun. | ||||||

| 3 years ago my sister, my children and I took my mom on this same tour for Mother's Day and we loved it so much we vowed we'd come back with my husband and my father. Unfortunately my father never made it, he passed away before we could take him but this year I decided to take my husband and his 2 grown daughters on the tour. I can't tell you how much we all loved it. I had an idea what to expect but was pleasantly surprised that not every food tasting stop was the same as it was 3 years ago. The tour guide was quite gregarious and well informed, the food tastings were delicious and the shop owners were incredibly warm and inviting. It's obvious how much research and planning goes into your tours. It's also most appreciated that you provide detailed information not only for the places we stopped for tastings but for restaurants along our route that were recommended by our tour guide. We will definitely use that information to bring us back to Greenwich Village for dinner, drinks or just a gelato! I've recommended this tour for the last 3 years and will continue to do so. And I'm truly looking forward to the next food tasting tour I take with you !! | ||||||

| Highly recommend the tour. Learned a lot about the history of the area in addition to the wonderful food tastings. Guide knew the area since she had lived there and she was able to make the area come alive. | ||||||

| This is a great way to get a good feeling for the heart of NYC. We arrived the night before and did this tour first thing the next day. Helped us really see a part of New York in detail and understand some of the history and flavours of New York. To be honest we have food as good if not better at home but the tour gave us an understanding of the option that the Village offers. Loved the diversity of the food options available and the back stories behind each restaurant. The history of the neighbourhood was also really interesting. Our guide was great, informative and helpful. The tour was professional and makes me wonder why we don't have something similar at home. I would recommend this to anybody visiting New York for the first time or anybody who wants a detailed tour of one particular area in New York - a must do in NYC. | ||||||

| If you are looking to get some inspiration on where to eat in the village and where to get the best food this tour really does it!!! It was great to get to visit a variety of shops in the area and get some information about the area you are in as well. My friend and I ended up going back to several of them to pick up some nice food or to go out to eat. Joe's Pizza go another visit as the pizza was very tasty - even with only a few ingredients they have managed to create a wonderful tasting slice. Not fatty and not stingy on the portions either!! We went back to Cornelia Street Cafe for some evening entertainment (one of the higlights of our trip to New York) and a lovely dinner as well. Going back to Little Havana for dinner was a real treat.You can taste the home cooked tast of the food and the love with which it was made. One day we decided to do a picnic on the Husdon and got our bread from Amy's Bread, the cheese from Murrays Cheese Shop and some delicious rice balls from Faicco's, followed by some Cookies from Milk and Cookies... it was HEAVENLY and brought back all the good memories of the food tour. Another place we went back to was Pesce Pasta - lovely anti pasta, agreat bottle of wine and some great food for a most reasonable budget. Snack Taverna was not covered on the tour itself but was in the leaflet and we had a lovely dinner there as well. Possibly the best taramasalata I have ever had!! The good thing about the food tour is that it gives you the feeling that any place covered in it, even if you do not get to taste their food on the spot, will be worth a visit in our case that certainly was the case. Our guide Heather had only been guiding tours for a short while but you would never know it form the way she brought the area to life with her stories and she managed to cover plenty of ground whilst going round whizzing us through the stops on the tour. You will never go hungry again in the village if you do this tour!!! | ||||||
