My husband and i did not have high expectations. The tour was given to us as a gift. Let me say that we had a blast our tour guide was funny, smart and knew the greenwich vill area so well. He honestly made our day. He took us to so many little out of the way places that we probably wouldn't have stopped into on our own. The food was great everywhere we stopped, that in fact, we circled back after the tour and did some shopping on our own . We happen to be ny born and bred and it was a perfect way to learn about great new places to go to in the village. Another perk was that we got to meet so many nice people from different parts of the country and the world. Great tour, Great food and Great tour guide! |

My only complaint was it was frigid cold which is out of y'alls control! I really enjoyed the history lesson provided by the tour guide as well about Greenwich Village. |

Our guide (Barri) was great. I'm in New York almost annually - keep going to the same places. I'd been to Greenwich Village a couple of times, but because of the layout, it is too easy to get confused. If you don't know where to go, you just stay near the main streets. So I hadn't been back in many years. This tour through the historic section was SO interesting and helped me identify better with famous names from my past. Even though we only visited one restaurant - mostly individual shops (cheese, pasta, pizza, etc.) she pointed out several other restaurants that she recommended. We stayed in the village after the tour, shopped, and then ate at Po's. The food was wonderful and the wait staff could not have been better or more friendly. I felt that we'd just had a full day with a great group of friends! |

Our group leader was very friendly and inclusive of the 13 tour members. She made the (very cold) three hours pass quickly. And she seemed to know all the restaurant owners and staff, which gave a level of trust. Each of the tastings was very good -- especially the canolis at Rocco's Pastry Shop. I liked learning a bit of history about some of the buildings, too. Great fun and very informative. I'd recommend this not just for out-of-town visitors, but locals, as well. |

Amazing food, pasionate tour guide, good times!! Highly recommended to anyone looking to delve beneath the surface of Chinatown (especially those who think it's just Canal Street!) and discover much more about it's history, culture, and cuisine (trust us on the Peking duck!) |

This tour was great! I expected it to be about the food, and there was plenty of food - we had 7 tastings - but it also included a lot of Greenwich Village history and architecture. Our guide was very knowledgeable, not just about Greenwich Village, but also about food in general. Tastings covered a variety of excellent cuisine. I could live at Murray's Cheese Shop quite happily. Be prepared to walk a lot; we were on our feet most of the time. |

Four girls...out on the town...at Christmas time! Usually we catch a show but decided to try the dinner tour instead. We were excited about trying The Sushi and Japanese Tapas. Well...it was definitely worth it! We were just sad that we didn't bring our husbands. The tour guide named Raheem was excellent! He made it alot of fun and really knew his stuff. We've decided that we will continue taking dinner tours. It was a great time had by all... = ) |

Great way to learn about local food, culture, and history of the Greenwich village area. The variety of food we tasted was mostly carb based products ie risotto, pizza, bread. We did leave full and when we left we knew where in the area we wanted to come back to for dinner. The tourguide while knowledgable and friendly enough lacked in personality. Tour would have been better if the tour guide had some energy, enthusiasm, wittiness etc. |

This tour was awesome! Would definately recommend it. Diana was a great guide- enthusiastic, with a great knowledge. Went back to the market a few days later on our own, and it just was not the same. Diana made the place come alive. a great experience. Would have done another food tour if we had the time. |

My Chelsea Market/Meatpacking District tour was absolutely amazing! Not only were the 8 different stops for food delicious and fun, but my friends and I thoroughly enjoyed learning about the history and being exposed to this unique area of New York. Our tour guide was both knowledgeable about the food and the buildings, and she entertained us with great stories and explanations. I would definitely recommend this tour for everyone - local New Yorkers and Californians alike! |

Tour guide was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and managed the group well. Food stops were good but would have liked it better if it could have been a bit more balanced - i.e. what you'd actually have for a lunch instead of heavy load of all carbs - egg nog, muffin, pasta |
