| If you are looking for something fun to do with your day in NYC that doesn't include walking the streets with shops you cannot afford, or going to the same ole' Gap you have at home, then this is perfect for you! It's fun, educational, and fills you up! You learn about Greenwich Village, you are off the beat and path of chaos and you get to eat great food! It's totally worth $44. Even if I would have had to pay $80, it would have been worth it. | ||||||

| This was the second time I did this walking tour. The first time was about 2 and half years ago when I used the tour as a date. It went over VERY well. This time I went with a friend who also seemed to enjoy it a great deal. It was good to see that they try to keep things current. There were some notably differences from the first time and this time. 2+ years ago the tour was more focused on the food and had a lot more samplings. This time around there was less foos to sample, but still plenty to keep you filled. That said, I wish they would substitue the second pizza stop with something else. And also when we hit the pastery store on bleecker, I got my mouth watering for some gelato.. might be good if they end the tour with something like that. I also noticed this time there was a lot more history and culture added. The geek inside me and my friend loved all the historical tidbits we picked up on the tour. I also noticed an improvement in the quality of tour guide. The first time are tour guide was personable and made the experience fun, but you could tell she was working from a script. This time, Heather (our guide), did a great job and seemed so natural in the knowledge she was sharing with us. I do recommend this event for someone looking to do something off the beaten path on a date or with friends. | ||||||

| Our guide, Heather, was wonderful! She knew her stuff, made all the guests feel comfortable and three hour tour flew! Heather was enthusiastic and fun! We highly recommend her talents! The eight food tastings were well chosen, each delicious in their own right but could have been a more diverse mix of foods. ie: we ate alot of bread & cheese. We did not realize the food tour would also include neighborhood restaurant highlights, Village history or fun food facts and these surprise additions rounded out a well planned tour. Suggestion: If this tour could include or substitute one of the other stops with a gelato or ice creaM tasting or something cool to drink we think it would be a nice addition. The restaurant LIME was a delightful stop as well. All in all, our group of eight was entertained and food tour satisfied. A lovely way to spend a Sunday. The Rusin & Schnipper family | ||||||

| an excellent experience; our group which consisted of one male and two females of a certain age had a great time; our guide, susan, was extremely knowledgeable about the village; the food was very good and more than i expected; she told great stories about the area, the buildings and the clubs, restaurants and stores; i was expecially interested because my father was born in the village and it was where i used to hang when i was in college; although i have been to the area many times, it was great to hear the history and to find some of the small shops and restaurants that i had never noticed before; all in all a great day; recommended highly | ||||||

| This is our second food tour experience. Although we enjoyed the food on the traditional Greenwich Village tour more, this was also very informative and fun. The tour guide was a wealth of knowledge. It's a great way to learn more about the village while experiencing the diverse food culture. | ||||||

| Overall I enjoyed the tour, it was very informative, providing a historical overview of the area and highlighting current hotspots. But since the tour was specifically a "Food Tour" I expected a little more emphasis on the food culture and tastings. I would have appreciated more tasting stops as there was certainly enough time for them. | ||||||

| My brother and I sent our mother and his godmother as a Mother's Day present. It was a huge hit. Both women love trying new resturants and found the selections excellent. They told us that one place was better than the next. The best part was they learned history about New York that after 47 years living here they did not know. They are even thinking of brining some friends on one of the tours when they arrive from out of state in September. Highly recommend for tourists and locals! | ||||||

| This tour went above and beyond my expectations. The web mentioned 4 tastings and we were actually given eight. Everything was delicious! It was not only a food walking tour but there was a little history included too. We also got to see the Central Perk from Friends! I highly recommend this tour if you are visiting the city! | ||||||

| I had a very enjoyable tour with Dave, he was very knowledgeable about the area & gave us great tips on where to go for an evening meal. The food was excellent and I enjoyed everything that I tried. There was definitely a lot & I was struggling with it all in the end. I went to Fish on Bleeker St for dinner one night & had the Oysters & Wine special - absolutely the best tip from the tour for me! | ||||||

| Four women in their 50's took the Chelsea Mkt/Meatpacking Tour. We had a blast. Our guide, Kurt, was knowledgeable, funny, and enthusiastic. I especially liked the Buonitalia market and the little snack there. All the food was great. After the tour, we went back and purchased some items we had sampled. | ||||||
