| I booked this tour for a good friend of mine and her husband who were spending their honeymoon in New York on the recommendation of a native New Yorker. They loved this activity and said it was one of the most fun experiences they had whilst there, providing an insight into an area they might have struggled to come to grips with independantly. They went back later in the week to eat at a couple of the places they had visited on the tour and they certainly appreciated hearing about the history of Greenwich Village as well as sampling some culinary delights! | ||||||

| Todd led our group - he was informative, personable & entertaining! It was fantastic fun to wander around the area, popping in to the various restaurants & shops. Vegetarians are well catered for, which was my only concern. The tour provided a great insight into the Greenwich Village area & I would not hesitate to recommend Todd & this tour to all our friends! | ||||||

| Living on Long Island all my life, I never had ventured into Greenwich Village but was amazed at how much I was missing after my tour. Our guide was extremely knowledgable and personable, evidently a real local who was able to give us little known facts and usable advice about the village and it's shops (even down to which items on certain menus were must haves). You can't find these things in your usual guidebooks. The village is very different from the rest of Manhattan and planning to take the tour as part of an extended vacation or even for just a day trip is worth the three hours of touring time. Because of the tour, I will be back to visit the village on my own. | ||||||

| You were recommended by my daughter and we were certainly not disappointed. In fact, we've already recommended the tour to 3 other couples. We intend to return and tour "The Village" ourselves , lunching and dining at the places you recommended using your tour map as our guide. Thanks for a wonderful time. Our guide, Todd, was very personable and knowledgeable about the history of the area. I think we'll try the Meat Packing District tour nex time. | ||||||

| very good would do again, only draw back it was done on memorial day and some places were closed. they should have told us this ahead of time. otherwise the guide cindy was great, knew her stuff, and was very entertaining. | ||||||

| My Mom and a I enjoyed the tour very much. The guide Cindy said she hoped it would be the highlight of our trip to New York and it was. The food stops were varied and tasty. The shop owners were very friendly. My Mom who is 80 handled the walking and Cindy was very helpful by giving her several opportunities to sit down. Thank You! | ||||||

| the food was wonderful, and i enjoyed getting a local's perspective of her own neighborhood. our tour lasted 3hr 15 minutes, and i think it could be condensed a little bit. but, for the most part, good pacing between tastings. oh, and very generous tastings! you defintately won't need lunch afterwords. my only complaint is i won't be able to get this kind of fabulous food in arizona! i frequent manahattan often, and will be signing up for the chelsea tour as well. its a delightful way to spend an afternoon! | ||||||

| Cindy our tour guide was great. Made the experience educational and fun. The food was good and no one in our group left hungry. Was my second time to do this tour and I will do it again. Also have done their other food tour and liked it as well. | ||||||

| I thought the tour was interesting, including the historical perspective of the Market and Meatpacking district. I was expecting to try a bit more food and I thought that there wasn't much food (I wasn't quite full at the end of the tour- and I don't need a lot of food), especially for the cost of the tour. Also, our guide was very strict about not buying while on the tour, which I understand to a certain extent. But, especially if people are still hungry, I think this rule can be a bit more flexible. I also think a wonderful addition to the tour would be a quick tour of the Food Network. | ||||||

| We took the tour on a friends recommendation who had visited the market just two weeks before us. My husband and I really enjoyed the tour, our guide was very enthusiastic (I wish I could remember his name) and provided us with great details and very interesting facts. He was very knowlegable about the tour he gave and he even gave us an added bonus through Greenich village. We ended our tour with him in a freinds beautiful garden for our dessert. | ||||||

| Well, I am from Chicago and my friend and I decided to take this tour just so we can get some ideas where to eat in the Village. We had my 18 month old son with us and the tour guide was obviously not into children. The group was not that big and we really did not eat $40.00 worth of food. The places we ate at where very little. We thought we would have gotten more food to eat. The cultural part of the tour was very nice and very intresting. The tour guide Jenny was very good but the fact that she snubbed us because we where with a child was not nice. We where basically ignored and push to the back we felt because we where with a child. All and all I would say to take this tour if 1) You are not starving 2) If you do not bring children. Lori | ||||||
