| We found this tour in a magazine and were able to book the day before - I recommend booking in advance however since they do fill up quickly. We had a great time and were able to learn a lot about Greenwich Village and all the hot spots to eat. And the food we tasted was very good - filled us up too! Not just a nibble. Our tour guide Cindy was from the village and had lots of tidbits to mix in with the food - when to call for reservations to what you must try when eating there. We were very satisfied with our tour. I highly recommend to anyone who loves to learn more about the local scene! | ||||||

| This tour was highly recommended to us and we pass on that recommendation as well. Even during NY's heatwave (99 degrees!) it was great fun. We particularly enjoyed learning the history of the area, and discovering the great tucked away restaurants and hang-outs in the Village. We went back to the Village later that evening and ate at an intimate little restaurant and followed it up with a local comedy club. | ||||||

| We had a great time on this tour. Not only was the food great, but our guide was wonderful. By the time the tour was over you will have had a wonderful and varied lunch, and you will also know a lot more about the Village. This was a wonderful time. | ||||||

| Being a native New Yorker I know there is much to see and do, but how do you know where to go? I took the Greenwich tour, my 2nd, the other being the Chelsea Market, and in spite of the heat on Sunday past it was great - load with new tastes and info. The guide Kirk was humorous and had many off beaten facts that were interesting and funny. This is the 2nd time with him as guide and I highly recommend him! The store/restaurant owners were friendly and pleasant, and I have to say by the end of the tour you've had more than enough to eat not to mention ideas of where to go next time out. I'm planning the Chevy Convertible tour next in the fall and that will be my 3rd. I guess that says something about how much I liked the tours. I keep going back for more!!! | ||||||

Chelsea Tour Fabulous even in Extreme Weather

| Our family had the good fortune to experience the Greenwich Village Tour several years ago during a freak blizzard in March. The intrepid guide and the group soldiered on through the blinding snow for three hours. Although completely frozen, we thoroughly enjoyed the tour and loved the guide with his interesting stories, remembered long afterwards. So, we enthusiastically signed up for the Chelsea Market Tour for our trip to NYC this August. The day of our tour dawned a stiffling 98 degrees!! We decided that it was our family's fate to go on Food Tours during extreme weather conditions. But once again, the tour was worth withstanding the blazing heat. Our guide was a wealth of knowledge, and we sampled wonderful treats. We would do it again--maybe next time during a typhoon. | ||||||

| My daughters from TX and MO (ages 27 and 29 ) and I met in NYC for a week of shows, shopping, and sightseeing. This tour was absolutely one of our very favorite things! We're telling all of our friends that it's a MUST for their next trip to Manhattan. Wendy was our tour guide and she was AMAZING!!! She was so knowledgable and funny too! The history and stories of the place and her own life growing up in the area were fantastic. We just couldn't get enough. We'll be returning next summer and plan to take another one of your tours. Thanks so much!!! | ||||||

| Considering it was like 100 degrees, on Saturday, everyone on the tour had a great attutude and the tour guide was very accommodating to everyones needs. The food was great! | ||||||

| I enjoyed this tour. I think it would have been more fun if we had spent more time outside Chelsea Market....also a bit more variety in the types of food offerred would be a good idea (fewer breads). Overall, this was an area I would never visit on my own and it was fun to see it through the eyes of someone who was very familiar with the area. | ||||||

| There are only superlatives to descirbe our 3 hour tour with Cindy. I was born and raised in NYC and always knew this area as the meat packer's district. I was impressed with the work being done to preserve it as well as the artistic view that the developers have. The food tasting was good but more importantly I enjoyed the descriptions, history and interesting tidbits about this area. I've already recommended it to several of my friends. | ||||||

| Barry was a great tour guide full of interesting information about the restaurants, bakeries and food stores visited in addition to the area of Greenwich village. We were fortunate enough to return during our NY visit to the village for shopping and dinner and look forward to sharing our knowledge and purchases with friends and family. | ||||||
