Foods of New York Tours

Our guide was very informative and easy to understand and hear. The foods were all very good. If I lived closer I would go back to each place to eat or buy food. I will definately do another tour in the future, and will recommend this to others. Thank you.

We have taken other Zerve tours and we have enjoyed ALL of them! The staff is always energetic, friendly and very knowledgeable. Our tour guide, Cindy, did not let us down! The stops and food were wonderful. We loved strolling along the High Line, You will definitely see us again!

This was my 4th tour with Foods of New York, and my second one of the Chelsea Market. As with the other 3 tours, it was just wonderful. Our guide, Cindy, was entertaining and kept us moving along without realizing we were moving along, the 3 hours just flew by. My sister and I were so full by the end of the tour we weren't sure if we were going to need to eat dinner. From start to finish, just a great way to spend an afternoon.

This was the third time I have taken a food tour with this company. They have all been great. The tour is fun with delicioius food tastings and very informative. I enjoy hearing about the history of the areas.This was the second time I've had Cindy as a guide and she is fantastic. She adds so many little tidbits to the tour. You can tell she really enjoys what she's doing and all the locals are glad to see her.

I have taken this Chelsea tour twice now and both times it was fantastic, mainly because the tour guides were so knowledgeable and entertaining. This time we had Cindy and boy does she have a lot to say in a short period of time. She seems to love her job and it shows! The food was great and my only criticism is that I wish we didn't start the tour off with a huge cookie. Although delicious, I would have preferred to save that for the end. Otherwise - great tour!

We had a great time on this tour! The food was wonderful, and it was interesting to learn about this area of the city. Our guide, Kurt, was fantastic - extremely funny and entertaining. Definitely highly recommend this to anyone.

Tour guide knew her stuff and provided fun facts about the area. Food was excellent and we were stuffed by the end.... I will definitely take another tour when I go back!

This would be my most highly recommended tour for New York. It was fun and educational and we got to taste some wonderful bites. Also got to meet several interesting people from around the US and other parts of the world. It lasted 3 hours, but I would have enjoyed another 2 hours more! Our tour guide was great. When I go back to NYC I will definitely plan the other tours with this company, and would probably go on this tour again. I LOVED it.

Our tour guide gave us an amazing insight into the history and flavor of Greenwich Village. We had an opportunity to sample a terrific range of foods from pizza to vegetarian pork. Along the way we learned some of the history of the neighborhood and came to appreciate the wonderful diversity of restaurants and food purveyors.

This tour was recommended by a friend who said she loved it and that I would also. It was everything the description said it would be and more. Our tour guide, Bob, was so friendly, knowledgeable and witty. He kept us going at a good pace and was full of little stories and observations. The food we tasted was amazing. I could not believe the amount and variety of the food tastings. I had heard of Chelsea Market, but had no idea of its size or what vendors were part of it. The little tour of the HighLine Park was a fun bonus. Seeing the Meat Packing District was also very interesting. My friends were also delighted with the tour, We all agreed we would do it again with another group, perhaps family, I have already given the website to several other friends and suggested they get some people together and book a tour. I also enjoyed meeting and talking to the other members of the tour who were from other parts of the USA and Canada. It was a very enjoyable day.

We were afraid the really hot weather would spoil our enjoyment, but the 3 hours flew by, and we had enought breaks in cool spots to be able to enjoy the walk. Great guide, great information, great food-Can't wait to try another!

Loved the tour particulary our guide Kurt. He needs a pay rise,he was funny, well informed and helpful. Would definately go again on other tour.

Guide was fun and informing. Sephra (sp?) was terrific as a guide. The food selections were varied and interesting as was the history of neighbourhood. Came back to the neighbourhood (for dinner and to buy stuff to take home to Canada,) in the days following based on the great samples of food.

We met at the Cheese shop with our Tour Guide. She was extremely knowledgable about the area foods and the restaurants in Greenwich Village.We had several stops for tasters which were all delicious.All in all an interesting and tasty tour of Greenwich Village. The tour guide kept us informed and made us welcome.
