| We very much enjoyed this tour. Our guide was very well informed on all the material she presented to us. We got a lot more than we bargained for in this tour and the food was great. Will be recommending this to others!! | ||||||

| Sorry I draw a blank on our guide's name but he was fun and very entertaining. He had a great understanding about the area and history. I enthusiastically recommend the market tour itself but not necessarily the meat packing portion of it. Might have been better if the weather was not so hot. Fun day. It would be great if you were able to start other tours in the great and diverse city of New York. | ||||||

| Absolutley loved the tour! Kurt was GREAT and made the experience that much more enjoyable. Certainly liked learning about an area that we had never been to and the changes that are ensuing. I would like to take this tour every year to see the new changes each time. And of course the choices of food were superb. Thank you for a great day, can't wait to do it all over again. Keep up the good work. Ann | ||||||

| Our tour guide, Michael, was fantastic. We learned about local architecture, how the neighborhood has changed and evolved over the past couple hundred years. We got a pretty good idea of the lives of the immigrants who have passed through the area, and of how important the role of food is/was to these different ethic groups because it serves as a link between their native homeland and their new home. Michael's stories of the artists and intellectual movers and shakers were captivating and his genuine interactions with the local residents really gave us the sense that the Village has a small town feel. We look forward to visiting many of the great restaurants we were introduced to. | ||||||

| The tour was a little long but definitley worth our while! We ate some amazing food and got great ideas as where to book a great dinner reservation! (which we did and the food was amazing!!!) If you like food, good laughs, and a little exersice, this tour is for you! We took this tour on an extremely hot NYC day and our tour guide gave us bottles and water from the beginning and let us stop to buy more or go to the restrooms whenever anyone needed to! It was a great way to see the Village! | ||||||

| Very informative, providing just enough information to peak your interest about the area, but not so much that you are bored. Perfect amount of "samples" that you are satisfied with this culinary experience. The brochure provided is extensive and extremely helpful, giving info on just about all the great spots for food, drink and gourmet shopping in the village. The tour is definitely worth it for all those who love food. Discounts and coupons are provided in the booklet so that you can go back and purchase from some of the specialty stores. | ||||||

| I wanted to explore the Village with some background on the history and with tasting of the restaurants, and I found the best tour ever!!!. It is a great experience for a individual who wants to discover the restaurants but not doing it alone. The tour guide was very kind and funny, she is the best!!. I recommend this activity to everybody. Greetings from Puerto Rico!!! | ||||||

| Berri, our tour guide was extremely professional, and exhibited a great deal of knowledge about the area, both in history and cuisine. We're grateful to have done this tour early in our vacation, as we were able to glean a great deal of knowledge about the area, and more importantly, what the good eating spots were. Berri was friendly, and eager to answer our questions. Thanks for such a wonderful tour, and thanks for hiring wonderful people like Berri! This tour made our stay in NYC so much better. We will definitely recommend this to all of our friends. For anyone reading this, I strongly recommend doing this tour early in your vacation. You will find the best places to eat, all of which are reasonably priced. | ||||||

| Learned a lot about the Village - liked the interesting history lessons/stories. Food was great and even in places where we didn't taste items, it was good to see them, check out the menus and hear about what's unique and/or good there. Barri (our guide) was excellent, friendly and quite knowledgeable. We were visiting the city with other friends who did not take the tour, and they tried some of the other places recommended by the tour later in the week and were quite pleased. There is a lot of walking/standing on the tour - fine for us and our group, but be prepared. | ||||||

| This was the second time I've taken this tour, first with my sister, daughter and her friend 3 years ago and this time with a friend from Illinois. The tour met all my expectations and there were some new features as well as old favorites. Our tour guide, Barry, was excellent and very informative. We had a great time and would recommend the tour to anyone who's interested in not only the food tasting but the ambiance and history of this quaint village of Greenwich in the heart of New York City. | ||||||

| This is the second Zerve tour we've taken. We did the Greenwich Village tour two years ago. While this was a great tour that opened up an area of the city that I didn't know much about, I would suggest that people that could do just one, do the Greenwich Village tour first. The tour guides on both tours were knowledgeable and interesting to talk with. They willingly provided individual attention, and tried to accomodate dietary constraints. Howqever, the chelsea and Meatpacking District tour made for a very enjoyable day. Since there was less walking than the other tour, it was more relaxing. Most of the tour was at the market, going from store to store. There's a great selection of sponts to shop and eat at, and some to dine at that if we had more time we would have patronized. Some of them reminded me of the Pike Place Market in Seattle and other destination markets our here. Especially remarkable was the Lobster Place with the huge selection of seafoods and the great chowders. Also, the produce store was fascinating with its huge selection of mushrooms. On future trips to New York, we'll be going back to the meatpacking district to see how it evolves. Thanks for running these tours. I hope that by the time of our next trip there will be new offerings to consider. | ||||||

| While I am a native New Yorker, there was much learned after having taken this tour. I think a lot has to do with the luck you have with your particular guide. Mine was very pleasant and definitely had more than just a working knowledge of the environment. I thought that the places we were taken were representative of the area and the many changes that seem to be taking place there. I enjoyed the different samples of food and could definitely see myself becoming a patron of some of those establishments. I also liked the walk outside where the guide pointed out some of the pricey stores that are coming into the area. I think this tour is a worthwhile experience for either a native or a tourist. Relating the information about the High Lline to the special section in the Sunday New York Times was a thoughtful touch. | ||||||
