Foods of New York Tours

I thoroughly enjoyed this tour: the history, our guide, and most of all the variety of food we sampled. My very best favorite was the rice ball. (I would love to have that recipe). I have told my friends back here in Tampa that when they visit New York, they must add your food tour to their list of "things to do".

Friendly, enthusiastic, knowledgeable, patient and kind.... a great tour guide gave out much information, a wonderful part of our trip... the food was exceptional! rice balls to die for!! everything was great i wouldn't change a thing... I have done it twice and would do it again...

Our tour guide, Marie, was so knowledgable and explained everything non-stop and in very interesting detail. The food stops were wonderful and the overview of the Village was terrific.

AMAZING TOUR!!!! Will absolutley do this tour again. We have already recommended it to others. We have been to New York many times and it was so nice to do something different. The food was wonderful and our tour guide Darrell was AWESOME!!! I can't say enough good things about this tour. Everyone- doesn't matter age or gender - should do this tour. Can't wait to do it next time!

It was wonderful, our tour guide was so informative and we all enjoyed the Chelsea Market and all the food samplings as well as the walk thru the meat packing district .. I would recommend it. We took the Greenwich Village Tour years ago which moved us to do this one when we were in New York. Next time we will do another.

The tour around Greenwich and SOHO was fantastic just the right amount to give the flavour and some history and trivia of the local area. The only disappoint was we should have done the tour at the start of our NY trip not the back, then we would have all these great places to eat!!

We really liked the tour. The thing we would have imroved on was when the guide(sue) did the talk and gave us the taster, we would have liked to enter into the location of rest. more often then standing on the sidewalk listening. She had good facts on the history of the neighborhood. Didnt like the newer rest. added on the tour. Loved the more historical destinations. Being a local person some of the newer rest. will prob be out of business shortly.

My friend and I wanted to go on a different kind of outing. We picked our first food tour. We met good people went to awesome resturants had a great day.

My bf and I are local and decided to do this tour as something different... we thoroughly enjoyed the tour, the food and our guide! Come with an empty stomach because the bites of food surely do add up! This was a lot of fun and i definitely recommended it!

Well organized, excellent guide, good pace ate well and learned some stimulating information.

This is the 2nd tour that I have done (the first one was the Chelsea Market we did 2 years ago. This one did not disappoint at all. Excellent food (more than expected), great side notes and history. I highly recommend this tour to friends and fellow reviewers. The only negative about the tour (if you can even call it that), is that we didn't get Kurt as our tour guide, as hoped. But ours did a fantastic job!!! If you haven't had Kurt, he absolutely rocks. He is the best guide you will ever find, and is a gem. He is the reason we came back.

The tour of Central Village was a lot of meaningless trivia and very little on actual food knowledge. On several occaisions, the group stayed on the sidewalk across from the establishment and never even saw the inside of the place. We heard about the leader's family's favorites and continual rants about NYU but talked to only a few of the business owners.

The Greenwich Village Food Tour was the best way to spend a few hours- get a wonderful overview and history of this neighboorhood - and eat amazing examples of the foods that make this such a fabulous area- We can't wait to try another tour

Wonderful time; Curt was hugely entertaining and informative. We ate lots of great feel and got a real feel for the area.

We had a blast with our tour guide, Kurt. He was very knowledgeable and a lot of fun. We have some friends heading to NY next month and highly recommended this tour to them! Great job and we look forward to taking another one of your tours on our next trip.
