We had a nice afternoon with our tour guide, Susan who took us around lots of different places sampling food and giving us a history of the area and the people who live there. It is good to find out as much as you can about a place when you are there so this was a good opportunity to do that and taste food at the same time. I would recommend this tour. |

SOHO..south of Houston..who would have known unless you took a tour with a small group of friends. Our tour guide was wonderful. She had passion for the area and inspired us as she walked. We sampled food of the various restaurants and shops that has made the area what it is today. History abounds. What fun we had. The 3 hours went quickly and we can't wait to go back. |

We were over in the US from Australia travelling with a group of friends, and 4 of us did this Foods of New York tour. It exceeded all expectations and was fantastic - probably the most interesting and fun tour I've ever done. Lots of tastings of beautiful and diverse food, combined with interesting info about the surrounding area, lots of photo ops, and a great lunch and best mojito in NYC (yes, it reallly was!) at a Cuban restaurant. The Village is such a great area, and if it wasn't for us doing this tour, we never would have seen any of it. Our guide was great too - very relaxed and fun.
As a result of this tour we then all went back down to the Village that night for dinner with another few of the friends we were travelling with - to Montes Italian restaurant, and then out to Cafe Wha afterwards until the wee hours - and had one of our best nights on the trip!
Definitely 100% recommend this tour! |

I had a great time with our guide Raheem on the 'Central Village/SoHo Food Culture' tour. He made the experience so awesome! He's funny and extremely knowledgeable of the area. Trust me, it's truly a meal and nobody leaves hungry. Some of the highlights were:
The 'Focacceria' mini sandwiches were warm right out of the oven served on focaccia bread w/fresh mozzarella and roasted peppers. Next, 'Masala Times' Indian Unda Bhurji Roll, scrambled egg and veggies on Indian layered bread was out of this world and served with a Mango Lassi drink. Then, a short walk to 'Montes' Italian restaurant. We had table service (very nice place w/great photos and history on the walls) What a nice penne pasta with bolognese meat marinara sauce. It just gets better when we went to the Cuban/Latin restaurant 'Cuba'. Again with table service, a delicious Boiled Yuca w/Mojo garlic sauce was served followed by two different Empanadas, one w/Chicken and the other w/beef. A really rich salsa verde (not spicy) was served on the side. The Mojitos were optional, but were definitely a hit!!
I can say no more because I don't want to spoil the other surprises, including 3 more food stops! It was a very good walking tour packed with great NYC insight between portions. There were some neat little stops at a great coffee bean store and another at a fresh pasta store. Raheem took us on a real '3 hour tour' with so much info, extra potions, and a very good selection and order of the different portions.
Great job Raheem!!

Even though I worked in the city and spent a lot of time in the Village when I was younger, this tour uncovered some stuff that I either never knew existed or had forgotten about. For anyone who's only known/seen midtown Manhattan forget the rip-off tour buses and take this tour instead. Our guide, Raheem, was a lot of fun and very knowledgeable about the neighborhoods we visited, and the food was delicious. Unlike other food tours I've been on where you get filled up quickly, this one was extremely well-paced so I would leave one place thinking "oh man, no WAY can I eat more" but by the time I hit the next food stop I was like "oh good, more food." If you love to eat and enjoy history, this is the tour for you! |

The Greenwich Village food tour is a really great to find out about the village and eat from a few of the fabulous places. The tour takes you down streets and eateries you might not normally explore. It is a fun way to spend three hours, get to know the city and eat up a storm. |

This tour of local restaurants and landmarks in the West Village was elevated by our fantastic tour guide Curt. His wit and storytelling added to a fun day. We are already planning our next tour with him at the helm... |

I don't normally provide reviews of things but I have to say this tour was definitely a highlight for my wife and me. In fact, it exceeded expectations. Our tour guide, Kurt, was really fun and engaging. He had a ton if info about the neighborhood and the places where we received food. Speaking of the food, there was just enough of a taste at each place and we absolutely loved everything we were given. In addition, the tour of the neighborhood was also charming and informative. Everyone who has asked us how our vacation was gets a full report of this tour and a strong recommendation to take it if they are in New York. Given our experience, I'd try one of the other neighborhoods if we visit the city again. |
