We enjoyed our tour operators enthusiasm and knowledge about the food and local area. The choice of samples to eat was top rate. While we enjoyed the novelty of the Japanese vegetarian, not sure if it fit with the overall theme, but the other choices were top rate.
Time frame was appropriate and well structured.
Thanx |

Loved the Market. Did not like food at Italian market, so we didn't eat it. Felt like we needed more food. BUT, the tour is interesting, not too much walking, and the soup at the fish place was incredible.
Our leader, Kurt, was sweet and funny. We enjoyed him.
The pasta at the end, at the Meatpacking District, was wonderful.
Overall, a great experience. |

Our group consisted of me, my husband and our two grown children who both now live in the NYC area. We have been visiting NYC on a regular basis the past 8 years since my son started college at NYU. We have done a lot of the tourist type things but never a tour like this. We LOVED it and definitely recommend it if you like tours, FOOD and some history. Our guide, Curt, was fantastic--very energetic, a lot of information and a great sense of humor. The food was good and there was plenty. I highly recommend this for tourists and people who live in the area. |

The Central Village/SoHo Food & Culture Tour was a definite high-light of our visit to New York City. Our tour guide, Susan, was friendly and provided very interesting information about the history of buildings, culture and people that have made this neighborhood their home over the last hundred years. The food was an excellent sampling of different types of ethnic foods available in the area. I would recommend taking a tour as soon as you get into NYC, and then you would have time to go back to eat at each of the restaurants during the rest of your stay. The next time I am in New York City I will be including another food tour in our itinerary. |

The food was excellent and diverse, the guide was friendly and knowledgeable, and the route highlighted the personality of one of New York City's quirkiest neighborhoods. Take the tour--you will not be disappointed. |

Fun, relaxed way to experience a small area of nyc and learn about the history in the area. Smoked mozzarella & mojitos were to die for!!!! Tour guide was very knowledgeable and down to earth. This is my second food tour and I have thoroughly enjoyed both. You get to do several tastings, but these tours are also much more than food. Tour guides provide information on architecture & history of the areas. I plan to do another one on my next trip. |

Three hours and we only travelled about 6 city blocks, there was so much to see and taste. Great inside information and stuff you wouldn't see on your own. |

Really enjoyed the tour. Excellent guide who had a genuine knowledge of the area. Food tasting was varied and of a high quality and guide was also able to make some excellent restaurant recommendations for later that night. Would highly recommend this tour. |

We have done many tours in our visits to NYC but this one combines true NYC food mixed with some wonderful history along the way. A refreshing break from the same old eating places one can find in Times Square (let alone their home town). The food was amazing from each place, and our tour guide (Heather) rocked! She had a ton of information about Greenwich Village which made it all that much more interesting. My wife and I strongly suggest this to anyone who wants to explore the local eating places and learn about that area of town. We will explore the other food tour offerings next time we are in town. Thumbs up!! |
