The tour was a little long but definitley worth our while! We ate some amazing food and got great ideas as where to book a great dinner reservation! (which we did and the food was amazing!!!) If you like food, good laughs, and a little exersice, this tour is for you! We took this tour on an extremely hot NYC day and our tour guide gave us bottles and water from the beginning and let us stop to buy more or go to the restrooms whenever anyone needed to! It was a great way to see the Village! |

While I am a native New Yorker, there was much learned after having taken this tour. I think a lot has to do with the luck you have with your particular guide. Mine was very pleasant and definitely had more than just a working knowledge of the environment. I thought that the places we were taken were representative of the area and the many changes that seem to be taking place there. I enjoyed the different samples of food and could definitely see myself becoming a patron of some of those establishments. I also liked the walk outside where the guide pointed out some of the pricey stores that are coming into the area. I think this tour is a worthwhile experience for either a native or a tourist. Relating the information about the High Lline to the special section in the Sunday New York Times was a thoughtful touch.

It was a nice combination of food and history of neighbourhood. Tasting was delicious and abundant. I don't think you can go for big dinner after that.
Susan is very proffesional, friendly and made everybody comfortable.
Can you do tasting tours like this in other parts of city?
Thanks. |

May daughter who is a New Yorker and myself from out of town found this to be a delightful tour. We especially enjoyed the combination of historic details about the Village along with the tastings in the various shops. It is a wonderful way to get a feel for the village and all that it has to offer |

Our tour guide Kirt was informative and witty. He made it a fun three hours. We did visit some out of the way places that upon my return I will revisit again . I also saw some other spots that we did not visit but gave us the opportunity of knowing we would like to stop in next time for a meal.. The only different thing I would do next time is take the tour in the spring or fall when the weather is much cooler

My husband and I had a wonderful experience on the Greenwich Walking Tour. Cindy, our guide, was funny, interesting and lived in the Village so she knew her information. She was so enthusiastic about her home and encouraged us to think about the Village next time we visited for hotels and eateries. My husband and I did the Circle Line Tour afterwards and came back to Chumley's for supper. What an exciting place to eat with all the history that it has been involved in.
The only way to really know New York is to visit the neighborhoods. Doing it on your own is ok but you will not get the history.
The price is very reasonable and you get to try several different cuisines thqt you may not have in your town or you have not tried. Coming from New Orleans where the food is excellent we were very pleased with the selection of foods we tried. We are so glad a friend of ours recommended this tour.

This was the best walking tour I have taken so far! Our guide, Cindy, was so interesting and knowledgeable. The food tastings we had were delicious and provided a nice variety of samples. All of the shop owners we met were so friendly. I learned a lot about the architecture and the history of Greenwich Village. I highly recommend this tour; it exceeded my expectations. |

The Greenwich Village tour exceeded my expectations. I had been to the Village several times, years ago, but this tour gave me a new look at the charming neighbourhood. Our guide Curt was excellent. He was entertaining and he handled the group well. I only wish we hadn't waited until our last day in New York to do the tour because we would have liked to go back to some of the shops and restuarants. We'll definitely do one of the other tours- and maybe this one again too! |

I enjoyed the tour overall, but I preferred the Greenwich Village tour. I thought that there was some interesting facts and information as well as nice food tastings on this tour, but feel that the Village tour had more to offer in terms of food value and neighborhood facts. Good tour to do in inclement weather because most of the time is spent indoors at the Chelsea market. |

My husband and I really enjoyed the Greenwich Village tour. Our guide, Rebecca, shared a lot of interesting facts with us on the area and we really learned a lot and had a lot of fun. The tastings were very good and we really enjoyed all the stops. I would highly recommend the tour for anyone, regardless of age, etc. The restaurant recommendations were wonderful - we went back later that night for dinner at Palma's and it was excellent. |
