Foods of New York Tours

We want to thank Raheem for such a great tour. The food was fantanstic and very interesting. He is a wonderful speaker and full of interesting info on Chinatown; the food, the history and the neighborhoods we toured. Our tour group had eight people in it and we all loved the tour. Our personal group of four would all recommend it to anyone visiting NYC. Two of us are from NJ and wish we had found these food tours years ago. Thanks Raheem and keep up the great work.

This is our 2nd Foods of NY tour. We took the Soho tour 1 1/2 years ago and loved it. This tour was also great! Our tour guides were very knowledgeable both times, both about the foods and restaurants and the area of NYC. We're looking forward to going back to some of the restaurants we had tastings at as well as others that were pointed out to us.

Fantastic

The tour was fantastic! Our guide knew so much about the restaurants, food preparation, the neighborhood and the history and architecture of New York City. What a great way to find a place to go back to later for a whole meal.

Our guide, Bari, was knowledgeable. She was passionate about her job and knew cool facts that you would not know if you were wandering about the neighborhood yourself. The food portions were more than enough and all delicious. This was my favorite tour in NY. Even my husband loved this tour. Bonus: So I never got a chance to do the movie tour. As a "FRIENDS" fan I wanted to see the house they were supposed to have lived in. Well I saw the house on this tour, plus I had delicious food which the movie tour people did not have. SCORE!

A great activity for out of town visitors, but also a lot of fun for a group of friends that live in the city. Learned about a new part of the city, its history and delicious places to eat that I otherwise might not have spent much time exploring.

The tour was excellent. The history of the area, buildings and rails was new to me. Cindy made it great. Will sign up for more and will tell my friends about it! The food was amazing too

My husband and I went on this tour as part of a weekend in NYC to celebrate our 24th wedding anniversary. I am a big Food Network fan so I was very excited to take this tour. It was fabulous! The tour guide, Bob, was wonderful. Each food sample was to die for. I highly recommend this trip. We will definitely take another of the tours when we return to NYC.

Our guide was very knowledgable about the Chelsea/ Meat Packing District. There was a mix of humor and passion throughout the tour. Great to have the story of the Highline included. The tastings were delicious. We will definitely recommend this tour to friends heading to NYC.

This tour made me discover a neighbourhood of New York that I didn't know about. Our guide Bob did a great job of instructing us on the history of this former industrial area as well as the wonderful transformation it has undergone recently. And the food was pretty good too!

We thoroughly recommended this tour, loved the tastings (all great) and understanding more about Greenwich Village. Good commentary along the way. We came back again to Greenwich Village for dinner and browsing.

First let me tell you our tour guide (Susan) was wonderful, we all thought she did a great job. The tour was very interesting and lots of fun. All of the stops and tastings along the way were delicious... and we are planning to come back and visit a few of the stops. We would have never known about these places if we had not toured with you. Thanks for a great time!

Amy our tour guide was informative and kind. I learned so much about Greenwich Village. Would love to do another tour. My sister and daughter loved it as well. We would like to do the Chelsea Market or Chinatown next

My 13 yr. old daughter and I took the tour and really loved it. Our tour guide was awesome and really knew her stuff. The food was excellent and more than I expected. Greenwich village has so much history and we would recommend it to everyone.

I highly recommend this tour. Our tour guide, Cindy, was wonderful, very knowledgeable, and fun. We learned about the history of the area and tasted delicious food. The Chelsea Market is awesome. Stuffed after the tour! Well worth the ticket price and more.
