| Exploring Chinatown on a summer's day with a food & cultural guide was a wonderful day well spent! Raheem, our tour guide was very well versed in Chinese culture & food, patient, kind and humorous. He knew the area intricately and was enthusiastic in relaying this information to the group. I recommend this tour - highly educational & entertaining. This is the 2nd neighborhood tour we have experienced with FoodTours in NYC and am looking forward to the next NY neighborhood. By the way, the food was excellent and plentiful!!! | ||||||

| Food was the focus of the tour with fun facts and history of the neighborhood as an accent. As a local for the past 23 years, and a once short-term resident of Chinatown, I still learned something. Our guide Raheem was fun, knowledgeable and knew his audience well. He made everyone in the group feel welcome and comfortable, with the food, the neighborhood, and each other. The food stops were interesting and varied. Chinatown seems less daunting to me now. | ||||||

| Raheem, our guide, was extremely knowledgeable and enthusiastic. He provided a delicious and highly informative glimpse into one of New York's most vital and fascinating neighborhoods. In addition to the excellent fare, our tour was replete with invaluable facts about history, local culture, and etiquette. I would recommend this to both tourists and locals. | ||||||

| The shops in the Greenwich Village neighborhood are now more familiar and will be on the list of places to visit again. Enjoyed the historical education, the stories of the neighborhood and, of course, tasting the foods. Wish we had been issued a doggie bag so the overabundance could have been safely taken home to enjoy at a leisurely pace. There was no need to eat dinner and the walking only marginally used up the calorie intake. Great tour guide! | ||||||

| Our tour guide (heather) was absolutely wonderful-friendly, funny, and so enthusiastic!! The food was excellent and the local history and culture were great. Would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting the city. We are already talking about our next trip to NY and doing the SOHO food tour next time. | ||||||

| This tour was very well organized and presented. The stops were very well chosen in terms of variety. The foods we sampled were varied and most delicious! The guide was knowledgable, friendly, and most welcoming. I would highly recommend this tour for both locals and out of towners. All of our group was most satisfied! | ||||||

| If you have never been to the Chelsea Market and the meat packing district this is a wonderful opportunity to find out what it is all about and really get a taste of NYC's amazing food. You will not leave hungry from this tour and the food is to die for! You start the tour in the market and work your way to the other side and out and around Chelsea District. The tour is not fast pace, so you never get tired. The tour guide was very entertaining and filled with fun facts. | ||||||

| I do a similar type of educational session & tasting with beer as part of my job. I told my son that the fact that our host spoke for 2 1/2 hours and was constantly informing us with pertinent in interesting information was way above the curve on presentations like this. Highly recommend | ||||||

| This is the second time that I took the Greenwich Village Tour. I took it about a year and a half ago with my husband and went back this time with both my husband and college-aged daughter. Cindy was my guide the last time and i was lucky enough to get her again. She IS the tour. She is an amazing guide and really is the reason I came back a second time. We are planning on going to the Chelsea Market tour this fall because she informed us that she guides that group as well. It is great that you switch it up because this time we went to different venues than the first time. We love the Cuban Restaurant so much we went back for dinner and Each stop was better than the one prior. Everything was delicious. It's a great way to spend an afternoon. The food is delicious, you meet people from all over the country (world) and the tour is entertaining. Hope you continue to add more tours. So much fun! | ||||||

| We had so much fun on this tour! The food was amazing and we were so full by the end! Cindy, our tour guide, was hilarious and kept us laughing while providing a lot of fun facts about the neighborhood and the food along the way. Definitely recommend trying this tour! | ||||||

| It's nice to know that people exist out there that are so enthusiastic and passionate with their work. That's how I'd describe our guide on our walking tour. Full of information, great stories and passionate about the city he lives in. | ||||||

| It will take at least 3 more visits to NYC to dine at all of the great places we were introduced to on the Central Village/SoHo Food Tour. Raheem, our tour guide, truly loves his job and his enthusiasm is contagious! The food we sampled came in generous portions - so much so that we were too full to eat more near the end of the tour. The ricotta cheesecake at Bellavitae was my favorite. Our group was lucky enough to score reservations there that evening and enjoyed a wonderful meal and loved seeing Cafe Corner full of life at night. Can't wait to try your Chinatown tour! | ||||||
