This was a great tour. Our tour guide/leader Cindy was enthusiastic, fun and very knowledgeable about the Greenwich Village area. She was on time and prepared to lead our group. After waiting for everyone to arrive and checking them off her roster we were on our way. We had tastings from 7 different restaurants in Greenwich including pizza, rice balls, cheese tray, cauliflower sauté, soy bento box, chocolate chip cookie and canoli. All very tasty and food we would have missed without the tour. The walk through the neighborhood was interesting with many unique points of interest and architecture pointed out. The weather that day was perfect and the pace of the walk was not strenuous. We had a fun group of people and I think everyone enjoyed the tour as much as we did. It was our first full day in NYC and it got our vacation off to a great start. I highly recommend it to anyone, definitely a bargain for the quality time we had. |

A fun and informative tour with yummy food. We had a very enthusiastic guide with a terrific sense of humour. This is a fun way to get to know the village food establishments and what they have to offer. |

I was told about these tours from a friend who recently went to NY. Thought it sounded fun so my daughter and I went on the tour of Chelsea Market the first day we arrived. My husband had business meetings. We loved not only the food and tour of the different restaurants but the history of the area and how the development of it came about was very interesting. Our tour guide did a great job and he really knew what he was talking about. We took my husband there on Saturday and did our own "mini" tour with him. Would recommend it and plan on doing another one of a different area on our next trip to the city. |

The Greenwich food tour was one of the highlights of our trip to New York. The guide was fantastic - an experienced pastry chef who was brought up in New York City. She was friendly, funny and very organised. Everyone could hear all of the tales that she had to tell about the area as well as the origins of various shops, dishes and real estate. I understand that the tours vary every day but here is a list of what we had to eat- big slice of traditional pizza, arronchini ball, Cauliflower and pinenut gratin, japanese bento box, huge choc chip cookie (just out of oven), cheese and crackers, savoury pastries, olives and italian ricotta cannelloni. We got to meet really nice people from around the world and had a true taste of New York culture. I would definitely recommend this tour and when I go back to New York I will book another one with the same people. |

My husband and I took the Tour while in NYC for our 20th Anniversary. We took the tour the morning after we arrived so that we could enjoy the restaurants we learned about during the rest of our stay. This worked perfectly. We went back down to Greenwich Village each day and ate at the restaurants we were introduced to on the tour. We spent the most money at "Milk & Cookies." Their cookies were "to live for!" We brought home pre-packaged cookie mixes for all of our friends. Yum!!
Our tour guide was excellent and the group dynamics fun. We will recommend this tour to anyone we know who is planning a trip to the Big Apple. We made the decision to take this tour from the reviews we read on this site. So glad we did!! Order your tickets and enjoy! |

I cannot express enough how pleased we were with this tour. It was definitely the highlight of our trip. We did the west greenwich village tasting and cultural tour. Our guide was great, she was very imformative and made our excursion very pleasant even though we had inclement weather. It is a great way to explore an area of NYC, taste the foods of those cultures in the neighborhoods and see the true area. Had we done this tour at the beginning of our 5 day stay we would have definitely done a second one! I will definitely book one or more tours when I return to NYC!! |

The walking tour of Greenwich Village is a wonderful way to learn about one of the delightful sections of NYC. The three hour tour covers the history and edible delights of the Village. Our tour guide was informative, fumy, and went out of his way to learn everyone's names. The food is a tasty sample of the ethnic make-up of the neighborhood. We left with a long list of places we'd love to revisit at our leisure. We were delayed getting into Manhattan from Connecticut and missed the start of the tour. A call to the office connected us with a lovely young lady who "walked" us over the phone from where we were to where we could meet up with the group. Don't worry about bad weather either. Many stops were inside as you sit and learn some more facts, history and tidbits. We will definitely sign up for a tour of another NYC neighborhood on our next trip. |

We did not know what to expect but to our delight it was wonderful. We are from New Jersey and we do go to New York but I must confess not enough. When considering what to do beside going to a broadway show I stumbled on this sight and I am so glad I did. The tour was more than anticipated. We had and exceptional guide and the food was certainly plentiful. We can't wait to take another and are highly recomending it to friends and co-workers. Thankyou for a wonderful day. |

The tour was the highlight of our trip. The tour guide, Kurt, was so much fun
and very knowledgeable. The food was delicious at every stop. We also learned
many interesting things about the neighborhoods and restaurants that were
part of the tour. I would recommend it highly to anyone and would love to do
another tour next time I am visiting NY. |

This was our third time on this tour...bringing another visiting family member. Each time is a bit different depending on the guide, and about half of the foods differed from when we last took the tour about 18 months ago... so it is as if a new tour.
All of the food delicious, and it was sometimes things we would not have tried on our own, and now we will. And the information on the tour about the history and architecture is just great.
This is our second tour with Curt... and he is terrific.
We will surely do this again next time we have out of town visitors. |
