Foods of New York Tours

We loved it! Learned lots and lots about an area we were unfamiliar with even though we have been to NYC more than 15 times in the last 10 years. The food portions were generous and delicious. The tour guide was extremely pleasant, knowledgeable and easygoing. The group was the right size. Everything was perfect!

I have already recommended this tour to family and friends. Our guide, Darrel was witty, informative and kept things moving at a nice pace. We had such a good time we can not wait to try the other tours available!

Curt was our tour guide. He was knowlegeable, enthusiastic, and fun. He created an immediate rapport with the group by recounting everyone's name and where they were from (there were 12 of us!!). The Market and the businesses we stopped at were all exceptional. We had the added bonus of ideal weather.

Our tour guide, Susan, was knowledgeable and personable. She provided an enthusiastic commentary and the food was varied, good, and plentiful.

What a wonderful way to spend three hours in New York getting to know more about Greenwich Village. We learned a lot about history, architecture, and, best of all, food. The trip was an easy walk, which was punctuated with yummy tastes from the shops in the area. We would highly recommend this tour, especially if Amy is your guide.

I wasn't sure what to expect as I had never been on a food tour before but our guide was young, hip and put everyone in the group at ease despite the varying demographic. We not only learnt a little bit of the history of the area, we were given a lot of food by the restaurants we visited and got to enjoy the wonderful New York city surroundings. It didn't feel like a tour really, more like a cultural walk through the neighbourhood with someone very knowledgeable. The restaurants we visited were unique, interesting and the food, naturally, was delicious! Definitey recommend you try it if you want a relaxed and original way to see the city.

WE HAD A FANTASTIC TOUR. OUR TOUR GUIDE RAHEM WAS GREAT AND ENTHUSIASTIC ABOUT ALL THE AREAS AND RESTAURANTS WE VISITED. WE WILL DEFINITELY DO ANOTHER FOOD TOUR WHEN WE VISIT NY AREA AGAIN. WE ENJOYED LEARNING THE AREA AND TASTING ALL THE DELICIOUS GOODIES

My husband and I had a great time on the Central Village/SoHo tour. The tour guide, Raheem, really made this tour extra special. He was energetic, fascinating, considerate, and personable, and boy, did he know his stuff!! We visited several places, some to taste and some just for information, and he knew a great deal about all of these places---in fact, he obviously deals with these places personally. We will be signing up for another food tour from this company this spring.

Our guide, Bob, was wonderful. He was helpful, pleasant and filled with knowlege. He made it feel as if we were a bunch of friends enjoying the day together. The tour was great fun. I learned the back story about the shop's owners, which made shopping there so much more meaningful. I recommend this tour enthusiastically. Without hesitation, I can assure you that you will have a wonderful time. There is a lot of eating involved, so come hungry. You will not be disappointed.

My husband and I went into the city to celebrate our anniversary. Our daughter recommended a food tour because she enjoyed hers so much. Bob was a terrific guide- the pace was great, the food wonderful. We especially enjoyed the history of how the marketplace came to be and the story of the Hi-Line.

This was a wonderful way to learn about one of New York's distinctive neighborhoods. The tour guide was fun and knowledgeable. We really enjoyed everything we saw and tasted.

tasted great food that I wouldn't know where to get from. Nice pizza, veggie food and tastiest ice cream I have ever eaten!

If you live in NY, this tour was a great way to show family the city without having to act like a tourist yourself.
