Foods of New York Tours

Lots of fun for the whole family. Delicious food, entertaining tour guide, hidden treasures. A great way to spend a Sunday afternoon. I'll definitely take another one of their tours. Highly recommended.

We had a great time in spite of very chilly weather. The foods were all absolutely wonderful and we felt like we got a great sampling of foods indigenous to Greenwich Village. I was pretty full by the time we were done! The info. on the surrounding area's history, architecture and culture was also interesting and appreciated. I thought everything was really well done. We are moving out of the area, unfortunately, but we can't wait to go back to the Village and feel more like we know what we're doing!

We all enjoyed the sitting tour. The food was superb. Top quality. This was matched only with great presentation skills of our tour guide, Raheem. He was very pleasant and courteous. He gave us real insights into the art of sushi making and the correct way to savor this delicacy. We also had Raheem as our tour guide for the China tour. It was again fabulous. Despite the rainy weather, we enjoyed great food and learned a lot about china town. Now, we know where we can find the best Chinese food in New York.

When planning our vacation in New York, my husband and I had been looking for a tour with a local guide and found the Food of New York Tours. What a wonderful way to experience a city and and its culture. We enjoyed the tour very much. Susan was very informative about the neighborhood, the restaurants and shops. She also had a very nice way of making everybody feel good. We loved the tastings, especially the cheesecake which was really unique. The visit at Cuba was very fun, too. If we had stayed a little longer we would a had a party in the cellar with the delicious Mojitos and Sangrias. We were the only international tourists in this group so for us it was a great chance to talk to all the US people. Special thanks to the "Alabama girls" for the nice company. Now we have to consider a trip to the South to taste your cuisine! All the best from Denmark.

Second time around for me...I liked the tour so much I wanted my daughter to expereince. Such a wonderful way to learn about the neighborhoods and what they have to offer. excellent food tastings...each time we visit the city we include a food tour as a part our experience!

Susan our tour guide was absolutely fabulous and knew so much about the history of the neighborhoods we visited. Everything we tasted was delicious and we truly felt we had the inside track on a lot of amazing places that only locals would know about. We will definitely be back to enjoy and full meal at the places where we did tastings. This was my second food tour with your company. Both were just outstanding. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone. It's a welcome break from the usual tourist sights. It's amazing what you can find when you just take the time to stop, look around and enjoy some of the city's culture and hidden gems. This was truly a feast for the eye and the palate. Not not to be missed!

My daughter and I went to NYC to celebrate her 40th birthday. This tour was one of the highlights of our trip - in fact, we went back the next day and had a wonderful meal at one of the restaurants featured on the tour. Would take it again - and highly recommend it to all.

Had a fantastic time on the West Greenwich/SOHO tour with Rajim. Went on a different tour several years ago and enjoyed it so much that we signed up for this one. Rajim has such a great personality and was so informative. Wow! And a piece of the best cheesecake - ever! I would highly recommend this tour company for those who are visiting New York and even for those who live there as they will learn a lot of history plus they will get to try some great food. Thanks again!

Raheem, our tour guide, was excellent. He is knowledgable about food, architecture and history and is very engaging and always looked out for the group's comfort. We had very good food and learned quite a bit about local history of the neighborhood and enjoyed the food at the restaurants we visited.

This was a great tour that was very informational. Whenever we come to the city we never know where to go, but after this we know a bunch of places we want to try! It was also very interesting hearing the history of the area. I just wish that we could have sat down at more places rather than standing on the street eating. The tour company should offer a tasting that is not as many places, but more time in each one.

I have been to NYC many times and only wished I knew about the Food and Culture tours before. I will make it a point to do another tour on my next visit. The price is reasonable, and is 3 hours well spent. With so much choice in NYC, this tour allows you to focus on a select few places, and gives you confidence to return to the respective area, and have a great meal. I love the Central Village area/SOHO. Raheem was a great tour guide. I hope to see him again on future tours.

I had a blast on the walking tour and it was the highlight of our trip to NYC. My mom recommended it when she came with her girlfriends and I will definitely recommend it to others as well! I loved touring the restaurants and walking around that part of the city. Excellent work and I'm excited to try one of your other tours on our next trip!

I found the tour to be fantastic. Our tour guide was awesome , she provided a lively / interesting view on the history of the markets as well as the interesting details on the restaurants and cuisines. I highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in learning more about the Chelsea Market History while experiencing the good food and conversation that comes with the tour guide.
