Foods of New York Tours

The tour was very well done but the real gem of the operation was our tour guide Kurt. He not only had well versed knowedge of all the places but delivered the information in a very comical way, keeping everyone engaged and excited. Thanks for the great time.

The tour was lots of fun. It's a great way to get to know the area especially if you want to go back later. Our guide was upbeat and informative. She had so many good stories to tell about the restaurants and the buildings. We really enjoyed tasting the foods and getting to know the restaurants.

We were a group of 8 friends who hadn't been to New York before and so wanted to make the most of our visit. We decided to book up a few activities before we travelled in order that we didn't get to New York and then try to book things. The food walking tour was a real hit with the whole group from the outset. Our guide was knowledgeable and enthusiatic and we stopped off at roughly 8 different tasting places whilst she gave us a potted history of the area and how it had developed over the years. What can I say - it was fabulous and I would highly recommend this tour to anyone planning a trip to New York - I'd certainly look to do this again to take in another area should I visit again.

Our Greenwich Village food tasting tour was fantastic! Our tour guide, Cindy, was a native New Yorker and a wealth of information. Her lively and insightful narrative added to the tour and made the three hours fly by! All the restaurants you chose were fantastic. From the pizza to the cookies to the rice balls- we all enjoyed every item on the menu. Next time we're in NYC we plan on taking another food tasting tour you offer and have highly recommended the Greenwich Village tour to our friends!

Our group, from San Francisco, thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Our guide, Marie, gave us so much detail about Greenwich Village, and the food tastings were fabulous. We highly recommend the tour and will definitely consider another one on a future visit..

We loved the tour, my husband and I my married daughter and spouse ages 27 and 28 and our 17 year old son despite the very cold weather enjoyed Michael our tour guide. He was knowledgable funny and informative and the food was great. We went back to each place after the tour and shopped! It was then we found out our youngest got into college early decision! It was a great day!

Tour was fun, entertaining, educational...all with great food. Our group ranged in age from 35 to 65 - we all thoroughly enjoyed every minute. This certainly was an outstanding three hours and made us fall in love with Greenwich Village. We came back to this area two additional times during our brief stay. Heather our guide was exceptional and we have already recommended this tour to our friends as well as people we met at our hotel and at other gatherings while in New York. Can't wait to try one of the other tours you offer on our next trip

A lot more fun and entertaining than going out to lunch! We had plenty to eat, learned a lot, and picked up ideas for places to return to sometime. Thank you. We had a great time.

The tour was more than I expected. Our guide was wonderful and witty which made it that much more fun. He incorporated the food tasting with some history and culture. His knowledge of Greenwich Village added so much to the tour. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone that may be interested in getting to know The Village better.

Our tour guide, Raheem, was awesome! He knew SO much about the area and had the greatest personality. I got the best pictures, met the nicest people, and ate the most amazing food. I even took notes so I could remember all the stories about the locations and will be ordering food over the net from some of the stops! If (when) I return to NYC, I will definitely go revisit many of the places we went. In addition, I will definitely sign up for your other tours!

My friend and I did the Greenwich Village walking tour in June 2008. We were pleasantly surprised and told all of our friends how wonderful it was and insisted they do the tour. We decided to try the Chelsea Market tour and convinced several friends to go. All of the tasting was done in the market which we had already explored while waiting. It was just very disappointing compared to the Greenwich Village tour. We expected more walking outside. I also was not nearly as full and felt it was not worth 44.00

A group of four friends decided to try one of your food tours. We frequent the city and several of us have lived there a number of years. We thought it might be a fun change from our normal event choices to try the tour. This particular tour of Chelsea/MP district was great. The area has changed so much (for the better)...We most have to compliment our tour guide. She was very informative and shared great/fun tid-bits that had we not gone on the tour but on our own, we would never have had the information and history she was able to provide. Not only would I recommend this particular tour but ask for Diana as a guide again. Happy Holiday!

This was one of the top 5 days of my life. Curt, our guide, was phenomenal. His depth of knowledge and his humor made the experience so enjoyable, that I hated to see it end. He added so many personal touches to the day! Chelsea Market was beyond all my expectations. My only disappointment was not getting to view any of the Food Network Studios but all in all, I would do this tour again any time!
