Our guide was knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and able to go with the flow. The food was great, but even better was meeting the restaurant owners and chefs and hearing how our food was prepared. Learning the history of the area from early immigration to later waves brought it all into context.
We loved it! |

We were a mix of international and residents of Westachester. The combination of food, local history and architecture made this a fascinating trip. I'll be taking some of the other tours soon. Don't eat breakfast before you come and plan a workout afterwards! |

Our family was visiting New York for the first time. We booked this tour online and had no idea what to expect. What a great time we had. Our tour guide was absolutely fabulous. Very informative, quite entertaining and such yummy tastings. What a treat! Highly recommend this tour. Ours was in Greenwich Village. |

This was one of the best tours I have ever been on. The three hours really goes by quickly as you eat the delicious foods in the Village. On this tour I ate the best cookies I have ever had! Overall the tour was well done and work the money! |

We really enjoyed the tour of Chelsea Market and the Meatpacking district. We thoroughly loved exploring the market and learning the history behind the buliding. My husband almost kissed the ground when he found out it was the birthplace of the Oreo cookie. The samples selected for us to try were excellent and our tour guide, Cindy, was not only full of great information and history, but hilarious as well. We saw so many things we wanted to try, we went back to the market the next day to have lunch. It was amazing to see how the neighborhood is changing. The new Highline park was an added bonus that we were not expecting. We can't wait to try the other tours offered by Foods of New York the next time we are in the city. |

Food stops provided a wide varity of food types most of which should appeal to the most discriminating appetities. Guide was good at sizing up the group and focusing on inform;ation that would appeal to all group members. |

Loved the tour. Guide was extremely informative on the Greenwich Village neighborhood and the restaurants/specialty food shops we visited and sampled food from. The tour was the favorite part of my trip and I would definately take another tour from this company when next in New York. |

We are from Arizona. Whenever anyone in my family celebrates a decade I take them to the city. My daughter, Grace, turned 20 in 1999. We had our first blast on one of your foodie tours. My sister, Suzie, even came from Ohio to join us on the tour. This time, the celebration was for my son, Miles, who turned 10. He had never been to the city. The food tour was a spectacular blend of history, comedy, culture, and of course, food. Way cool for a 10 year old boy. Our guide treated us great and paid extra attention to Miles which was greatly appreciated. Next year my daughter, Josephine, will be 10 and I will be turning 50. We will be visiting the city to celebrate and plan on including the food walking tour on our list to do. Thank you so much for making my celebrations with my family that much more fun and memorable. Miles did say he's looking forward to turning 20 so he can go on another tour with you guys! Also, not only have our guides been knowledgeable and kind, the other folks on the tour who are from all over the states and world, have also added extra interest and fun to the tour. Overall, I would highly recommend this tour. |

This was a wonderful experience. Our guide Zephra was fantastic, humourous, full of energy and incredibily informative.
The tour not only introduces you to some of the best food hotspots in Grenwich but also provides a good insight into the culture and history of the area.
We returned to one of the italian restaurants recommeneded on the tour and it was fabulous.
I have now been to New York 5 times and this has been by far the best tour.
Highly recommended.

After spending a pleasant afternoon walking the streets of Greenwich Village I really feel like a local. Our guide was enthusiastic and entertaining. The food sampling were enough to suffice for lunch. Afterwars, my daughter and I had the knowledge to meander the streets ourselves and buy some of the best NYC has to offer. A great combination of history, culture and food. The next time I would allow the time to stay in the Village and go to one of the many suggested restaurants for dinner. We had a committment in midtown. I would definetly recommend and will do another FoodTour on my next visit. |

We've been meaning to do this for the past three years or so when we visit NYC, but never got around to getting tickets before they sold out. My daughter and I visit The Big Apple every year for spring break, and this year I made a point to buy our tickets early. SO glad we did!! We had so much fun, ate great food, learned a lot about Greenwich Village, and our tour guide, Kurt, was awesome! (And funny!)
I highly recommend the tour, and we can't wait to do it again on our next visit to NYC! |
