Foods of New York Tours

we had a blast, so much fun and some great informational details too. it was our first trip to chelsea market and we will be back. everybody enjoyed the day. we had Kevin (?) and he was ABOVE AND BEYOND ! Loved him

We really enjoyed the food samples from the local restaurants. Tour leader's knowledge of the area was excellent and she had a good sense of humor. Only recommendation we have is the Japanese restaurant didn't seem to fit the ambiance of the tour.

My mother and i heard from a friend that this was a fun tour to do and I had always wanted to go to SoHo so this was a perfect reason. It was a wonderful day and our tour guide was very enthusiastic. It was neat to hear the history of the area and how much it has and has not changed. And the food was amazing! I'm normally a picky eater and I ate everything it was beyond what i expected. My favorites had to be the Cuban restraunt and this other restraunt with an amazing cheesecake! My family will be returning to New York City this summer and we are keeping our guide and we will be returning to many of those restraunts! It was such a great time and i highly recommend it to anyone who would like an exciting and yummy experience!! Also bring good walking shoes because you do lots of walking, which is good so you can walk off all the great food you just ate!! So basically, this is a wonderful tour and i highly recommend it!

The Greenwich Village tour with Sefra was fantastic. It was very well organized, the service at each place was quick, and our guide was incredibly friendly and entertaining. It was better than we could have expected!

This tour visits a number of food establishments, both restaurants and providores, in the West Village. The food is great and the banter from our guide (Sephra-I hope I spelled it correctly!) was fun and witty. Our family includes 3 children aged 7, 13 and 15 years, and all of us loved the tour. Highly recommended.

We went on the Greenwich Village Tour and loved it! We got to sample so many different foods which were all fantastic! We also learned a lot about the area and other restaurants in the area that we didn't stop at. We even went back to one of the restaurants the following night for dinner. I would definitely recommend this to friends travelling to NYC!

This tour was a fantastic mix of history, culture and food. Our tour guide was enthusiastic and very knowledgeable. The restaurants and tastings were phenomenal. Highly recommend this tour to others and we look forward to taking other tours in the future.

We all had a great informative, tour led by Bob. We learned alot, didn't need to eat for the rest of the day. It was more than expected. We also had a wonderful group of people and by the end of the last meal we felt we were with family. A great time was had by us.

This was one of best tours I have ever done. My husband and I had a great time. Our tour leader was so enthusiastic. She obviously knew the area and loved it. We felt very welcome in all the shops and restaurants we visited. All of the food was great. We tasted a wide variety of food and loved it all. I would highly recommend this tour to any one visiting NY who want to get a "taste" of the NY where the real people live.

If you only do ONE thing in New York, then it had better be this tour! It was the best of everything that makes New York so special! An extremely knowledgeable tour guide, with a wonderful personality, great food, and terrific sightseeing! It was recommended to me and I have recommended it to everyone here at work! Can hardly wait to do it again the next time!

For anyone who loves food and learning about an area, this is a tour you must do. Not only was it informativie about the foods and business owners, but also about the history of the area. In an era of big box and discount stores, it is terrific to see small businesses flourish. Hats off to them and to the developer(s) who had the vision.

My daughter and I both loved the Chelsea Tour and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting NYC. The food as well as the history lesson were fabulous! This is an event not to miss!

Must do if you want to get to know a lesser know part of New York and taste some amazing stuff!

Darrell was an excellent tour guide! Good pace. Very good presentation. Enjoyed the food, particularly the variety. Great to experience Chelsea Market, the High Line, and the Meatpacking District. Great basis to return and enjoy this area.

Darryl our guide was fantastic. Great energy & really gave our group a sense of the wonders at the market. We loved it so much we went back the next day to re-explore & taste. make sure to walk the Highline it really caps off the experience.
