Foods of New York Tours

The tour was fun! My bf & I both enjoyed ourselves. Cindy was a great guide and it was an experience trying the different foods. You may not like everything you try, but you'll have fun doing it. I would like to try another tour of a different area with Cindy.

Cindy, our tour guide, was brilliant - her knowledge of Greenwich Village, the delicious food in the area and New York as a whole was outstanding and her personality , wit and charisma made the tour a pleasure to be part of. The tastings were absolutely delicious too of course! I would recommend this tour to every single one of my friends and family visiting New York and I will definitely be booking on one of the other tours you offer when I return. A truly special experience.

The tour was highly reccommened through a group of friends who had particpated in it last summer. They were so right! Cindy was an amazing tour guide and the whole tour was well worth it!!

Our host, Cindy, was fun, informative and welcoming. We sampled many different food items that we probably wouldn't have otherwise tried. Cindy offered lots of information about the food and restaurants we visited as well as some local knowledge of the Village and its surrounds. We were also lucky to meet the Chef at Palma who was also very entertaining and a gracious host. I'd highly recommend this tour to anyone with an interest in food and life in Greenwich village. Thanks for a fabulous day, I'll be back to try another tour on my next visit to NYC

Cindy the guide is awesome and so much fun. We really didn't know what to expect from this tour when we signed up. Needless to say it was one of the highlights of our trip. We had a great time, the food was good and the group was really fun as well. Cindy again is awesome!!!

An interesting experience in that it was pouring with rain but we still proceeded. The tour guide appeared quite knowledgeable about the area and the content of the tour. We were staying in West village - so it helpfully provided us with more detail of our area. The only thing we would say is that it may have been helpful for people in the group to introduce themselves by name, and to shorten the tour by about 15 minutes.

What a perfect experience! The Village Food and Cultural Tour was highly recommended by friends, but it exceeded our expectations. As "regulars" visiting the City, we are no stranger to the Village. This tour, however, showed us a more indepth glimpse into the architectural, cultural, and food-ways of the area. Our guide, Barri, was fantastic! She was intelligent, knowledgable and very considerate of her group. The food samples were amazing. We had planned to have diiner after the tour, but were too full. It is a complete meal. I have an extreme allergy to gluten. Barri went out of her way to ensure that I had a gluten-free option at each stop. This was service above and beyond! It was as bad weather day, but, honestly, we didn't even notice. She kept us moving, entertained, engaged and very well fed! Thanks for a super experience. We plan to do another of your tours on our next trip.

We went with my parents and our teenage children and it was great. You need to want to try different foods. It is a great way to learn about different peices of new york, while making it fun and interesting. I would highly recommend it.

Tour stops were very interesting. Guide was knowledgeable. Like the size of the group which was manageable.

Cindy was a tour guide and she was both informative and fun. The balance of history, walking and food was exactly what we were looking for.

We really enjoyed learning about the area and all the food was excellent. The only draw back was that the tour was a bit long. It could have been done in two hours.

Our tour guide had lots of information about the Chelsea Market history. We stayed mostly inside, since it was January, but we did see the elevated parkway and some of the surrounding area. The food was a treat. I've recommended it to friends and plan to take my husband on our next trip.

My parents, my husband and I all travelled to NYC for a long weekend from Canada. My parents have been to NYC before but this was a first for my husband and I. Even though it was January, we lucked out on a beautiful day and a pleasant temperature. Marie was a fantastic tour guide and we felt that we had known her forever! There was so much to see, so much to learn, and the food tastings were absolutely fantastic! I am a true foodie and love to cook and bake so this tour was perfect for me! My husband and my parents (fellow foodies and cooks) also had a fabulous time. We talked about the rest of the tour during the rest of our stay! We walked and covered so much of NYC in 4 days that people cannot believe how much we did. Regardless, the food tour was easily, hands down, one of the best adventures that we experienced! I think the Risotto was one of the best tastings (and the wine was good too!!) Thank you Marie, our tour guide, for an unforgettable experience! In addition to the food- the history, the culture, and the overall ambience of Greenwich Village was amazing. I cannot believe how much there was to absorb! We had so much fun!!! We will tell everyone we know to not miss out on this tour when visiting NYC!!!

Kurt is a great tour guide and the food was perfect (amount plus the way it was spaced out througout the afternoon) This was a gift given to us and it was the best gift we got for Christmas last year!
