| We had a delightful day in Greenwich Village sampling some of the local fare. Our tour guide, Sephora, was knowledgeable and funny - she kept us laughing the whole time. I think the main purpose of the tour was to get us comfortable with the surrounding area. We would not hesitate to make a return trip to try out the local restaurants. The only downside - it was a little heavy on the carbs! ....but the food was delicious. | ||||||

| I had taken this tour 10 years ago and it is still fabulous!! A wonderfully detailed way to get to know a neighborhood and so tasty!! The cook at Palma even made us wonderful blueberry muffins, totally unexpectedly. I was with native New Yorkers and they loved getting to know their city in such a focused way. My only 'complaint' is that it would be better to keep the group to around 10 folks, instead of 16. thank you so much, Marie! You did an awesome job. | ||||||

| Great tour, not only did I discover some great places to eat and shop but I also learned a lot about the area, which i did not expect. Sometimes being in a big city like NYC can be overwhelming but this was just what I needed to make the city more personal for me. | ||||||

| This was our second walking tour with your company. Chelsea Market was very neat, loved hearing about the area and the food was GREAT. We had a variety of food. Our guide was very nice and knowledgeable about the area. He amazed me how he continued to remember everyones name. He keep the conversations going and was very energetic and exciting! He did a great job. I would really recommend this tour to everyone. Looking forward to the next time we are in NYC! | ||||||

| I have been on 4 tours and would take one everytime I am in New York. They are very informative about the neighborhood and history of the area. Learning about the restaurants and trying the food is what it is all about! When you are in New York as a tourist you don't know about so many of the small and quaint restaurants in these areas and by taking one of these tours you discover many of the fabulous places to eat! | ||||||

| I've forgotten her name, but our tour guide was just so funny, and made the tour great! The places I enjoyed visiting the most were the Aphrodisia shop, Mary's cheese, Vinoteque, La Palma. The milk & something could have been great, if the waiter hadn't treated me as a tourist who he thought he could rip off by charging me 2 dollars for an extra shot of expresso in my cappuccino. He could have gained a costumer as I live in the neighborhood, but instead he lost one! Again, our tourguide had great, great dry humor and if she ever does a talk show, let me know! She should be on a radio station or making comments on golf turnaments on tv. So funny! | ||||||

| Our tour guide did a great job of creating a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. We liked the way she engaged members of the group, especially the children. Given her professinal background in the culinary arts, she was able to bring considerable knowledge to a discussion of the foods we tasted and the restaurants in the neighborhood. The architectural features of the historic buildings that she pointed out were well chosen -- enough detail to bring an era to life, but not so much as to be overwhelming. We came away with a feeling of connectedness to the area, so much so, that an article in Tuesday's New York Times about the South Village turned us into preservation advocates. We plan to return to NY for another food tour, and for dinner at one of the neighborhood restaurants. Thank you for a wonderful afternoon. L.T. and A.T. | ||||||

| In spite of terrible weather (the rain was pouring down) we really enjoyed the tour in Greenwich Village. Our guide Saffra( spelling?) offered a well balanced tour with information about architecture of the neighbourhood, life now and then in the Village and of course the samples of excellent food.
