| The tour was more than I had expected. Our guide was a long time resident of the Village and shared with us his knowledge of the history of Greenwich Village . He spoke of the immigrant groups, the architecture, the culture, artists, bohemian life styles etc. All of the aforementioned and food! What more could you ask? He pointed out several restaurants that I will most defintely visit next year. I have already recommended this tour to three of my NYC friends . | ||||||

| We thoroughly enjoyed Susan and her tour of Greenwich and SoHo. Her information on the history and flavor of these neighborhoods was interesting and really captured the essence of these areas. We really enjoyed the food tastings and ended up going back to Monte's for dinner a few nights later for a fabulous meal. Our visit to Manhattan was really enhanced by adding this tour to our itinerary and getting away from the "usual" tourists places to see. When we return to NYC, we will definitely try another Food Tour! | ||||||

| Mothers/daughters/aunts/nieces met in NYC for a long weekend. We have talked about this for a long time and finally we were able to schedule this trip after the girls finished school, some married, etc. This was recommended late in our planning but an extra daughter (thank you Amy!) was able to be part of the tour. ALL enjoyed the food, history of Greenwich, and our tour guide, Mike. Mike gave us background of the area and introduced us to some residents. Many of us ordered some oils and vinegars from one of our stops. I have already mentioned our wonderful experience to all I have talked to, and you will be on their list of tours in the future. | Every year a group of us go to NYC for our "girlfriends getaway". We usually do the same things every year...decided to try something new and saw an ad for this tour. It was a blast! Our guide was excellent, the history of the area was interesting and all the food was yummy! We plan to take the Soho/Greenwich tour next time. | ||||||

| Although this tour is booked as just bites here and there, I found that we got more than enough to eat and drink. Our tour guide was friendly and had quite a bit of knowledge of the area. I felt a little rushed at the end, as I think we fell behind schedule inside the Market. But overall, it was a fun tour and I would recommend it, even if you are just a party of one. | ||||||

| My mother and I took this superb tour last week. Our guide, Cindy, was incredible. She was very knowlegable about the history of Greenwich Village and had many amusing stories to tell. She was a real star! As regards to the food tasting, make sure you come on this tour very hungry - you are eating about every 15 minutes for 3 hours. We didn't eat again until the following day. This is a fantastic tour, we couldn't recommend it enough. | ||||||

| I had no idea what to expect because the website is a bit sparse about the information. It was a blast! It was a great time because so often when you go to major city like NY, you open up a search engine or web reviews but that still does not give you a sense of where the good places to visit or eat are like. This tour was great because it gave you a little taste of everything and comes with a booklet of addresses and weblinks so that you can go back on your own to explore later that day or later in the year. While it is about the food, it is also about the NY history. I wish all the major cities had tours like these. I would definately take them to better know the city and neighborhoods. Note, this is a 3hr walking tour -- make sure you have comfortable shoes and you are ok to walk the whole time. We were a bit tired when we were done. If you are a carb-free diet, you will not want to go to the Greenwich Village Tour. Pizzia and Bread and cookies are the main foods of the day. You are handed a bottle of water for the tour, which is great for the spring -- may not be enough for the summer. All in all, very happy with the tour and will going back for another with a different set of friends later this year. | ||||||

| Our group was 3 couples , all interested in the history, local character of the neighborhood, and unique quality and variety of the "groceries" at the market. K(C?)urt, our well informed and lively tour leader, made the 3 hours the best any of us spent while in NYC. Don't miss this opportunity to taste great food and get a real feel for this neat part of NYC. The others in the group were so pleased with my recommendation to do the tour, I was a hero for the day! | ||||||

| This is my 3rd food tour within the past 3 yrs. Our tour guide (Rahim) was excellent! The food was outstanding and we actually went back to Montes for dinner, even though we weren't even hungry!! I love the food tours because we taste foods that I would never order on my own. Who would have thought Chicken, Pineapple perserves and Cajun peanut butter would have tasted soooo good!! I really enjoy these food tours and learning more about the city.....can't wait to try the Sushi dinner!! Sue in Connecticut :) | ||||||

| We really enjoyed our tour and had a great time. We learned a lot about the history of Greenwich Village and So Ho and the guide was a lot of fun with some of the insider stories. The food was great. This was my 3rd food tour and I'm looking forward to the Chinese one coming up!! Truly a fun day. | ||||||
