| It was great. I loved it, as well as the 3 other people in the group. I did this same tour last year and came back for more. The food was great, the tour guide was nice and informative and it was a great day. Next time, I'll be doing the Chelsea Market tour with foods of NY. Thanks! | ||||||

| The food was great. The guide was great. The information was interesting. We got to be inside, out of the elements for most of the tour. It was well worth the time and money. | ||||||

| We did enjoy our tour but felt the group was a little big to really hear everything the guide was saying. I was hoping a little bit more for some different ethic foods and tastings rather than as much history as it was. It was interesting though. People just can get a little aggressive when it comes to food though! My husband and I are from the Midwest so we tend to wait and make sure that everyone has enough before we get ours-big mistake in this group! The heat made it a little uncomfortable but that isn't anything that can be helped. Our guide was good and knowledgable. Our level of satisfaction had nothing to do with him. He was fun and tried his best to include everyone but was hard due to the number in our tour (I think it was 18 that day?). | ||||||

| We were a group of friends from Long Island who wanted to do something different in NYC. It was even better than we expected. Our guide, Wendy, was so well informed and taught us so much about Chelsea Market and the surrounding area. The tour was very well organized and the food tastings were delicious. | ||||||

A Wonderful Way to Learn about the City via food!

| I did the Chelsea food tour when my mom was in town visiting and we had such a great time that she came back again to do the Greenwich food tour. We loved it even more and our guide had so much good information that he went longer than anticipated and we loved every minute of it. My only recommendation is that you make sure the people going are a) interested in good food AND b) interested in learning the history of the area. We brought a more mixed crowd for the second tour and learned that it's not a good idea for teenagers or those who just want to stuff themselves, without learning all the history. As someone transplanted to New York, I love learning about the city this way! Now, they just need to cover other neighborhoods. | ||||||

| This tour is "as advertised" and so much more. We expected to get a look at Greenwich Village that the ordinary tourist would not readily find -- but were blown away by how great our guide, Michael, was. (First clue that we were in for a great trip was him asking if any of us minded if the tour went longer than planned -- he was prepered from the start to give us more than promised.) The food samples were delicious, the printed materials of all the places we visited has been all marked up with notes of where we should return to visit on our next trip to the Village. Great tour, great guide --and a very reasonable price -- particularly considering all the food!! | ||||||

| as a group of 4, 2 from Long Island & 2 from Virginia we had a wonderful time. Our guide Cindy was great fun with a wealth of knowledge of both the food and the area's history. From start to finish our interest was held and the food tastings were all delicious. Joe's Pizza alone was worth the trip. Thanks for a great time. | ||||||

A tasty and historical tour of Greenwich

| A delightful yummy way to see Greenwich. Wonderful taste treats. Interesting historical information. Easy leisurely stroll through a wonderful part of NYC. A couple of recommendations; taylor the food tastings to the seasons (refreshing foods in the muggy summer heat and soups/comfort foods in the cooler seasons). Collectively, the food was too rich and heavy for daytime tours in the heat. | ||||||

| From the view of Japanese tourist, this is curious Greenwich Village cultural tour. Food tasting is also interesting. But more than that, one of NY traditional culture and history are fun.I think this is because of good guide(Sorry I forgot her name). So why not set up Japanese speaking tour,I think this creates new market for Japanese tourism and your company. In fact,I got this tour infromation from radio program, called Good Moring Tokyo, J-wave.So many audience knows and shows intersts for your tour. | ||||||

Brochure did not accurately portray the samplings

| The guide was informative about the history and culture of the area. She was lively, personable, and kept the tour interesting until the last half hour. We were all hot, tired, and ready to call it a day. She held out the dessert as the incentive for holding us on a dirty, noisy, street corner until she ended her presentation. It would have been much better to walk us back to Chelsea market and finish in a pleasant setting in climate controlled circumstances. My guest and I were not especially impressed with the samplings. The brochure showed pizza and a lovely display of desserts--neither were offered or mentioned in the lecture about where to find these items. Also, the ticket/Internet info stated that we would visit the Fruit Exchange. This establishment was not visited or an explanation given about why not. My guest and I did not like the dessert given to us on a dirty, noisy, street corner. | ||||||

| I would highly recommend the Greenwich Village tasting tour. As I say, it was the highlight of our trip. Well organized, interesting, delicious, fun, educational. Our guide, Rebecca, was sensational. Now we have to come back to New York to explore these restauraunts in more depth. Thank you so much for such a memorable experience! | ||||||
