| We had a great time on our Meat Packing District tour. A good portion of the time was spent in Chelsea Market, but that's a good thing. I never realized how many great/interesting and yummy places are in there. It was great to learn about the history of the area, especially since I live here and visit it often. This tour made me realize how little I knew about my own city. The outdoor portion around the Meat Packing area was very interesting and I will definetly be returning to the area with a different perspective. Our tour guide was great too! I would definetly do this again! | ||||||

| Our tour leader was Mike{Michael}. He was especially knowledgeable about Greenwich, having lived there for may years and knew many of the local people. His enthusiasm and humour added to a most enjoyable tour. After the tour we re-visited some of the stores and stayed for the Prix Fix Dinner at one of the recommended restaurants. It was intimate and service excellant. My only complaint would be that there was not much opportunity to sit and have a rest, but we so enjoyed the tour and would recommend it to all. Congratulations. Also did the Chelsea tour, again excellant. June& Karin from Canada. | ||||||

| Our guide was way kewl. Can't remember his name, but he was a colorful older refined gentleman with a hat. The food choces were excellent. Highly recommend this tour, especially the pastry choices. REALLY like the rice balls at the old "pork store". Our guide intertwined history with the food choices. | ||||||

| My husband and I are local and my family is from the Midwest. We all learned something interesting and thought the food was outstanding. It was a great walk around the village and the tour guide was superb. | ||||||

| Curt was a wonderful guide and very entertaining. My mom is over 60 and loved him. She thought he was great. I am from Atlanta and have done the Greenwich Village tour twice. Your tours are very entertaining and a break from the ordinary. The Chelsea Market tour was great. The food portions were very large and the different types of food were great. We have said on all occasions that your tours are the best part of our vacation (next to Canal street, just kidding). Thanks. I hope you have another new one next time I visit the Big Apple. | ||||||

| This was my second time on the tour. Both Michael and Jennie are fantastic. Michael appealed to the history nerd in me and Jennie's knowledge and zeal for food are unrivaled! I've recommended the tour to many! | ||||||

| My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed the Greenwich Food Tour and have recommended it to everyone we have spoken with since the tour. Our guide, Jenny, was very knowledgeable and quite personable. Neither of us were aware of the interesting history of the Greenwich area. | ||||||

| I had taken the tour a few years ago, but my daughter just moved there and I wanted her to learn more about the area. We both had a great time, Some of the places were different than before but it is awesome how long some of these establishmentrs have been around. We felt privileged to know where the locals go! I have also done the Meatpacking tour.. Both are very enlightening and a great view into an area missed by so many tourists. | ||||||

| Aside from the tour, we want to compliment our tour guide, Jenny. She was very pleasant, energenic, enthusiastic and very knowledgable about Greenwich Village. She deserves a 10. To call this a "food" tour is very misleading. Perhaps it should be called a "history" tour with food samples along the way. Our group felt that we spent $40.00 for a slice of pizza, pastry and cheese samples. Too much money for too little "samples." We would not recommend this tour to our friends. Sorry....thumbs down from Maryland. | ||||||

| My sister, sister-in-law and I surprised my Mom for her 60th birthday with this tour. The leader was personable and extremely knowledgeable about the area and the food. For our family it was a great fit. We all have children under age 6 so it made for a a very different afternoon to be able to get lost in all the history and enjoy the food. My Mom also has taken advantage of many of NYC's major attractions and we managed to impress her with something she'd never done. The food was great and the history lesson was even better. | ||||||

| We both highly enjoyed the tour. I am a freelance food writer, so I signed up to taste all the goodies at Chelsea Market. The food was excellent, and so plentiful that I had to start rationing it! My boyfriend loves facts and history and he enjoyed the food as well as the many myriad details about the market itself and the surrounding neighborhood. Three hours into the tour, we were still interested and as enthusiastic as we were at the start. Highly recommended! | ||||||

| Our group thoroughly enjoyed the tasting and walking tour. Our tour guide was well informed, very friendly and very enthusiastic about the area. We learned about the ethnic influence and foods and the history of the area. The food was plentiful and very good. We enjoyed it so much that we want to take the Grenwich Village tour when we return to NYC. | ||||||

| First, I rarely do reviews - and even more rarely go on tours when I travel, feeling they often blast through well known parts of a city, giving only surface detail at best. This is not the case here, and the reason I'm writing this review. I was thoroughly impressed with both the content of the tour and it's layout - I never felt like we were rushed, and the order in which we tasted foods made sense for the time of day. Todd is incredibly knowledgable, with a great sense of humor, and willing to answer all questions. He clearly has a passion for NYC and for these areas specifically, and of course, food! I had visited NYC before, but hadn't spent much time in Chelsea/Meatpacking District so thought this would be a great way to get acquainted. This tour went beyond my expectations on every level - and seeing these areas just added more items to my list of things I love about new york. I can't recommend this tour highly enough. Best $40 I spent in NYC on this trip, hands down. Thanks! | ||||||
