| This was my second New York food tour. My first tour was with a different tour company that featured chocolates and desserts on the Upper West Side. There was a tremendous difference in quality between the two tours, and the Greenwich Village tour was by far the better tour. Our guide Cindy was professional, funny and had a wealth of interesting information about New York. This tour company has a relationship with the restaurants and stores that we visited, and they were expecting us and had our food ready. On the other tour, the tour guide had to stand in line and order the food, and pay for it while we waited. We had more to eat on this tour, the food was better and varied, and the tour was longer, lasting for three and one-half hours, compared to just over two hours for the Upper West Side tour. There was also a big difference in the professionalism of the guides, with Cindy being a far better tour guide. It was also fun that she had lived in the neighborhood and knew so many of the people there. Cindy also knew a lot about the history of the area, which was completely lacking on the other tour. Since both tours are about the same price, this tour seemed like a bargain. | ||||||

| Walking around a beautiful neighbourhood, getting local history and eating deelicious snackies. doesn't get much better than this. Very relaxing and enjoyable. A nice surprise for us -- our very personable guide was from Canada, eh. | ||||||

| There was so much good food on this tour that many people in our group almost groaned from being so full when our guide said there were three more tastings left. Once we got the food the groaning ended. I loved how there was a good mix of sweet, savory and everyhing in between. The guide was great and gave us history of the area (more that was expected) and that was a welcome treat. They were also great at accomodating special dietary needs as long as you tell them when you buy your tickets. I would recommed this to anyone - tourist or people that live in the city. There might be someplace you never thought of going to before. | ||||||

| The Chelsea Market and Meat Packing District Tour was fantastic! My sister-in-law and I are from NJ and love spending time in NYC, so we are always looking for things to do over there. I came across the food tasting tours while "surfing the net". This tour is well worth the time and money spent. We just loved the market and the changes made to the surrounding area. There were enough tastings included in the tour that you could surely bypass lunch and go for a wonderful dinner in one of the many area restaurants. Our tour guide, Todd, was just great and so informative. He always kept the interest level high throughout the entire 3 hour tour. Great job! I have recommended this tour to all friends and family. When thinking of a great gift, this tour goes right to the top of my list. I will definitely try out the other tours offered. | ||||||

| Hello I think this tour has too many food stops, and not enough cultural information. I also think all the places visited are part of a publicity tour. $40.00 is too much. The tour guide was very good, and knowledgeble. Greenwich village has so much to offer, and this tour did not met my expectation. Thank you | ||||||

| We thoroughly enjoyed the walk through Greenwich Village, and we especially loved the food samples. This was a really wonderful way to get to know a NYC neighborhood a little more intimately than we would have if we'd wandered around the streets by ourselves. We look forward to trying another Foods of NY tour the next time we come back to the city. | ||||||

| The Chelsea Market tour was absolutely amazing. I would highly suggest it to anyone. It's also a great value for the price and what they say is true, don't eat before, you'll definitely get plenty to munch on! Our guide Kurt was wonderful. He went above and beyond and took us for a wonderful walk around the Meatpacking District and to a few places off the beaten path. He really made sure we all had a great time. Take the tour, you won't regret it! | ||||||
