| Our tour guide was knowledgeable, interesting and fun. He kept the group moving but allowed us time to shop as well. We visited a nice variety of shops on the tour and sampled foods at many of them. The quantity and quality of the foods sampled was much better than those we had on the Soho Food Tour. After touring the area, we would be very interested in returning to some of the shops and restaurants on our next trip to NYC. | ||||||

| This was the first thing I did on arriving in New York for the first time and what an introduction to the city. The tour was very relaxed and we were blessed with some lovely weather too. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and funny - occasionally including locals and passers by in her banter. Lots of history and tall tales of the area were inlcuded. The highlight of the tour has got to be the food. We started with the best pizza ever and ended with cookies and a cheese class. In between there was some very special food with the occasional glimpse into secluded gardens and gourmet kitchens. I chose this tour on a whim - it seemed a good antidote to travelling and jet lag and I was realy impressed. I should also add that the "samples" of food meant that I had to skip dinner that evening! If anyone is thinking of this, just do it! It's real value for money and was one of the true highlights of my trip to New York. | ||||||

| This was my 4th food tour with this company. I have enjoyed all of them. If you like to eat and try new food dishes, this is for you! I took my family from out of town on this tour and everyone said they had a good time. In addition to food, you do learn about culture of the neighborhoods, both past and present. The first 3 tour guides I had were AMAZING-lots of energy and made everyone feel welcome. Real professionals. The last tour guide we had was okay. She didn't have the positive energy like the rest of the experiences I've had with the company. It wouldn't deter me from taking another tour with them-she was still informative. | ||||||

| Can't wait to go back and do another tour. Not only do you get to sample delicious food, but you get some history and architecture lessons of the area. Our guide was the best. Droll, bright and very in tune with all of our needs. Sephra. Thank you. | ||||||

| Totally surpassed our expectations! Our tour guide was extremely friendly and very knowledgeable about the neighborhood and about all of the amazing food we got to sample. I have been recommending it to everyone I know and my husband and I can't wait to go back and try another tour! Totally worth the $, actually seemed like a bargain. | ||||||

| We did the Greenwich Village - Soho tour and were totally thrilled with it. When I booked it I was afraid it might be a bit cheezy and inauthentic, but thought we'd give it a shot anyway. I knew from the first stop that we were in for a good day. The food we ate at the Indian restaurant was absolutely delicious, and the other diners in the restaurant were from Mumbai, so it was clearly an authentic place! All of the other sites were terrific too - almost all locally owned for generations by the same family. It really felt like we were getting an insider's glimpse into the neighborhood food scene. Our guide was great - a young guy that knew his history and his food. And the other people in our group were sophisticated and polite, so it didn't feel like you were being dragged around with some huge obnoxious tour group. I would reccomend the tour to anyone! | ||||||

| Showed me a part of New York I'd never seen or experienced. Restaurants were exceptional, many quite reasonably priced, and food specialty stores were authentic and filled with so much good food, it was hard to know where to start! Tour guide was friendly and personable, and seemed to vicariously enjoy our tastings as much as we did! Can't wait to head back down to the area to try out some more of her recommendations! | ||||||

| We thoroughly enjoyed this tour. The three hours flew by. We were impressed with the relationship that obviously existed between the tour company and the shop owners. We learned so much about the neighborhood. Lots of wonderful food. | ||||||

| We took this tour about 5 years ago. The tour is about the same with new food tastings. This is a unique tour because it combines food and historical information very nicely. My only sort of negative comment is that I felt the original tour gave more historical information about Greenwich village and it covered both the west and central village areas a bit more. On the other hand, this tour gave us more diversity in food tastings. | ||||||

The BEST Walking Tour Ever

| The Chelsea Mkt / Meatpacking District Food Tasting Tour was awesome! We have been on walking tours in cities all over the world, but this was our first tasting tour. I thought that we would have small samples of different kinds of food but what we got were big tasty helpings. The Chelsea Market also has an amazing history and has even more amazing art installations. We learned so much about the building that we never would have known if we had visited on our own. (Including who some of the upstairs tenants are. I especially love the elevators!) Our guide was great. She answered any and all questions, she paced the walk well and was able to relate to a range of ages from teenagers to seniors. In conclusion, I would HIGHLY recommend this tour to all my friends and to anyone who wants an informational as well as delicious New York experience! | ||||||
